The Bristol Cruise Terminal is a designated facility within the industrial port area to facilitate the embarkation and disembarkation of cruise passengers. The Cruise Terminal is 6 miles from Bristol City Centre and access is via the main port entrance at West Town Police Gate. The Cruise Terminal offers limited amenities including a seated waiting area, cafe and toilets.

Please note the Port Authorities do not allow passengers to walk from the Port Entrance (West Town Police Gate) to the Cruise Terminal, all passengers must arrive by some form of transport.

By Road

From Bristol: Head to Avonmouth on the A4 (Portway). At the Park & Ride, turn left onto West Town Road and follow signs to the ‘Docks’. This leads on to Victoria Road and will bring you to the Police Gate and entry to the Avonmouth Dock.

From M5 (South): Leave the M5 at junction 18, joining M5 spur road towards ‘A4, A403, Bristol, Avonmouth Docks’. Keep left and at Portway roundabout take second exit onto the A4 ‘City Centre/Bristol Airport’. At the set of traffic lights turn right onto West Town Road to ‘Park & Ride, Avonmouth Docks’. This leads on to Victoria Road and will bring you to the Police Gate and entry to the Avonmouth Dock.

From M5 (North): Leave the M5 at junction 18, bear right onto M5 spur road to ‘Avonmouth, Bristol Airport A4’. Keep left and at Portway roundabout take second exit onto the A4 ‘City Centre/Bristol Airport’. At the set of traffic lights turn right onto West Town Road to ‘Park & Ride, Avonmouth Docks’. This leads on to Victoria Road and will bring you to the Police Gate and entry to the Avonmouth Dock.

On entry to the Dock: Go approximately 100m and turn left following signs to the Cruise Terminal. Follow the road for about 0.8 mile (with the river Avon on your left) and you will reach the Car Park and Drop off Point on the right.

Car Parking

The Bristol Port Company offers secure car parking facilities close to the Cruise Terminal. Car parking must be pre-booked with your tour operator or travel agent. On arrival at the port, drive to the Cruise Terminal where your luggage will be collected by the baggage porter’s to be taken directly through security and onto the ship. Once your luggage has been collected you will be given directions to the car park. Please ensure that the Car Park Permit is clearly displayed in the windscreen of your vehicle before leaving your vehicle. The Car Parking permit will be included in your Final Cruise Documentation Pack.

Bristol Temple Meads is 6.5 miles from the terminal, whilst Bristol Parkway is 10 miles. Both are well connected and have taxi ranks.
