Malaga-Costa del Sol airport is located about 5 miles from the city centre with excellent connections to whole of the Costa del Sol. It serves all the main tourist resorts and towns along the coast, Torremolinos,  Benalmadena, Fuengirola,  Calahonda , Marbella,  Puerto Banus and Estepona. This airport has 3 terminals, Terminal 1 is hardly used anymore and Terminal 2 and 3 are connected internally. Departures are divided between T2 and T3. Most of the traffic handled by the airport is from the European Union. The United Kingdom is the destination with the highest volume of passengers, followed by other European destinations. Several bus lines connect the airport to the centre of Málaga, nearby towns and various Andalusian cities. Estimated travel time: 15 minutes to the centre of Málaga.
