I have just come back from a 7 night all inclusive stay with my daughter. I read some of the reviews on here the day before we came and my heart sunk and I was very worried about what to expect. However, I can happily say, as can my young daughter we had an amazing time. For a three star hotel it really smashes it and does a great all round job. Everything is clean and all the staff are welcoming and helpful. I found them to be very patient with my daughter practicing her very basic Spanish. The entertainment is good fun and rather jolly. It’s simple and effective ! The kiddie disco is great to watch as an adult as you get to laugh at your child having a wonderful time doing silly dance moves with new friends, the bingo is again, simple but really funny, everyone seems to take it seriously for the naff prizes in a well meaning way. The entertainment was varied - flamenco, MJ, Vegas, Tropical and live music. The food is good and there is plenty of variety which suits all diets and needs. The pool is a little on the cold side - but once you get into the swing of holiday mode it does not really matter. I think any reviews with little gripes in, should really be politely overlooked - it’s three star, there are a lot of people staying there and a lot of people working really hard to make it fun and they do! It’s also a great location - great little walk into town, near the park, near the beach, near the marina. Yes there is a bit of a hill, but I really don’t think that should put anyone off unless you are incredibly unfit or have significant mobility difficulties it really isn’t very manageable. My daughter and I can not wait to go back in the future. She says it’s a definite 10/10 and I agree. As a single parent I also have to add I found it particularly good value and safe, which are two really important qualities when looking for a holiday for me!

Just returned from our stay at the Bali hotel. It was lovely to see the hotels refit. We were greeted back by all the staff with a very warm and friendly welcome. They all work so hard to make everyone's holiday such a pleasant and enjoyable one. The restaurant now has an outside area which is really nice. The only downside is they no longer have the themed nights in the restaurant. Also the hotel no longer provide all inclusive clients with bottled water they have to get it from the dispenser in the snack bar. Sadly during our stay the hot drinks machines in the snack bar were out of order. The bar staff reported this to management but it was still out of order when we left after our 14day stay. This meant we had to ask at the bar for hot drinks which they happily provided but as all inclusive guests we should have been able to get them ourselves leaving the very hard working bar staff more time to cater for the other guests. We will definitely be returning to the Bali hopefully very soon.

I have recently arrived back from a lovely holiday at Hotel Bali, I came here with my young children for a week in the Easter break. We signed for full board which is breakfast, lunch and dinner. First time coming to Costa Del Sol and I wasn't disappointed, The weather was really cold and rainy the first few days of our trip and then luckily it warmed up into the 20s. The hotel is situated on a steep hill which is quite a challenge to walk up with a pushchair or if you are not a spring chicken anymore. There are a number of little shops and cafes down the hill with also the beach on the other side of the road. We arrived late so we missed out on the evening meal, we had to venture into the bar to get a packet of crisps. Even thou I thought it would be out of season the entertainment was great, especially for the children. There were a number of activities and games all day with a kids disco in the evenings, the team were so friendly and always happy to see the kids. There were also entertainment on every evening bingo, live music, dancing etc all were amazing. The restaurant was a good size as it can get very busy, there was a small outside area where you can eat as well which was really nice and cosy. The restaurant staff were so lovely, always keeping the tables and floors spotless, they defiantly worked hard. There were a few who were always happy to see you which goes a long way. The only negative comment was I didn't feel there was many food choices for myself or my children. There was 2 big pools and a kids splash pool also a round small pool, all were absolutely freezing but that's what you expect in a Spanish resort. There was only one lifeguard looking at the big pool but I feel there should of been one for every pool. The pools were a great size and the kids pool had loads of small slides and splash zones. The pool area was tidy and plenty of sunbeds, there was also a little park next to the pool, which wasn't really toddler friendly. The outside area also complimented a café and an outdoor entertainment area which I assume is open in the summer months. Our first impressions of our hotel room was very small and not enough space to hang clothes or any drawers. Our room was on the 7th floor which is great for looking over the balcony but it was so high that I didn't like the children going anywhere near it. We also didn't have a light on our balcony. The room was clean and felt very updated, my bed was rather hard but I managed to sleep, we also had a small mini fridge. Even thou the room was small, it was very nice. There are only two small lifts in the main area which can take a long time to get to you as it can get so busy. We had a lovely stay and I am already looking at going back as soon as possible.
