“Travelodge Waterloo place”
Perfect location, just a 2min walk from Waverley and city centre. The Room was very basic and a bit tired on the decor but fine if you just want to sleep and shower for a night. Shower wasn’t great but ok if there for one night. Luggage room and friendly staff (Paulo)

Airline Bus from Edinburgh airport every 30 mins, £8 anytime return, stops just near Waverley station and only about 250m from the hotel. My first room was on a level reached by 30 stairs (not good for a 78 year old) but the hotel was full so Mr T on reception changed it to a much better one the ... more
