Lovely hotel, vey helpful pleasant staff. Location very central to shops cafes .bars etc. handy bus service.Heated outdoor pool was great. Breakfast buffet a bit of a melee but food plentiful and much choice , even HP sauce. I would go againI We went in Feb 2024 as a couple staying B&B, plenty of reasonable restaurants within easy walk for all cuisines Indian, Chinese Spanish and others.

We have recently returned from the GF Fanabe in Costa adeje. In a nut shell I was pleasantly surprised with our stay as we arrived not expecting much and we throughly enjoyed our stay. We arrived after traveling over 6/7 hours. We were greeted by a lovely receptionist who gave us a ticket for a free drink from the bar. That was very kind of you thank you. We had to wait for our room for a couple of hours but this was no issue. We had a lovely maid clean our room every day. On the last day she left my daughter some sweets on her bed so we gave her a tip afterwards. ( we would have anyway) big spacious bathroom and the power shower was lovely. Our room was cleaned daily but same sheets used every day. We went bed and breakfast and the breakfast was nice of a morning. Eggs and omelettes cooked fresh in front of you. We had room 3308 which had sea view. Balcony was big and spacious however you can see / hear everything from the next room. There is a supermarket across the road. The hyper dino or something which is relatively priced. If you like cake 🍰 stop off and get a carrot cake from there. They are to die for. 😋 All in all a very nice place and we are already thinking of booking up next Easter. Reason for rating one star down is due to the sun-beds. In almost a week of staying at the hotel I couldn’t tell you a time when we had a sun-bed by the pool. Forcing us to be out of the hotel grounds probably more than we would have liked. Often towels are just on sun beds so nobody is actively using them. This really needs to be addressed as it lets a lovely hotel like this down. I didn’t see any staff sorting this issue the whole week either. The beds are comfortable but the one I had was lop sided 🤣 so I often felt like I was going to drop out. Drinks at breakfast time could be improved as they come out of a machine and some I had were either too warm or too strong. So undrinkable for me.

Our first visit to GF Fañabé recommended to us by friends the hotel is very clean, the staff are all very polite and friendly. The entertainment team are absolutely brilliant and great fun, both with the kids and adults. The room was a little disappointing, as the air con cold not get cool enough for us and the pillows were terrible. I would however definitely recommend this hotel for a family holiday

“A wonderful last minute break”

Stayed at the GF Fañabé for a week with our 11 year old son. Booked two weeks prior and pleasantly surprised. The staff at check in were very helpful and friendly and allocated us a room overlooking the children’s pool and football pitch with Mountain View’s. The room was spotless, well cleaned, spacious and comfy beds. Although there’s a lot going on around the area the hotel is very soundproof, as soon as the patio door closes you can’t hear anything. Guests were amicable, great choice of food, sunbeds were available when we walked down at 10/11 am although after this the main pool areas do get very busy and I expect more in high season. As we had an older child we didn’t go to the mini disco but saw bits when eating tea and it looked really good, there was some lovely singers on at night in the front seating area of the hotel and a lovely relaxing atmosphere. There is an array of lovely bar and restaurants if you walk around 5 minutes down the road, and water sports available further down the beach. There is a fairly steep hill that people with mobility may struggle with towards the main beach / shops and restaurants although heard it’s easy to get a mobility scooter, we ourselves didn’t have a problem. Definitely plan on returning next Easter for another break at this lovely hotel.
