“Great base for York”
Great base for exploring York. Across from Clifford's Tower and one of the main stops for hop on hop off bus. The hotel is nice and clean. Lovely hotel, excellent customer service, superb location, yummy breakfast. Park at the front of the hotel and see if they have space in their own carpark,l before you commit to the tightly spaced and ridiculously expensive castle carpark. “Uncomfortable beds”
Although the rooms were clean the beds were very uncomfortable, my daughter was on a foldout couch which we could feel the metal frame through mattress. The mattress needed to be thicker.
