Post Easter holiday for 9 nights First visit to the hotel but not first to the Island The location is good easy to access from airport The hotel is clean and modern It’s not focused on comfort none the less the service was very good. Would return

The hotel deserves full four stars. As everyone wrote, the rooms were clean, towels changed every day, the food was very good. I would like to thank the chefs Tose and Santiago and of course the bartender at the pool bar, Nathalie. The reception staff were very helpful. The entire staff gets five stars from me. The disadvantage is that there is no Wi-Fi in the rooms and the pool bar is open from 11:00. For me, there were no sun loungers on the rooftop, but there were plenty of them by the pool. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.

“Disappointing - note noisy building work across the road!”

Well, where do I begin? This hotel is more a 3 star not 4. Sorry, but not many positives I can say about this hotel. We booked a “lateral” sea view room, which was on the 2nd floor (227) and looked out directly onto apartments. When we asked if we could have a room, with a full sea view,of course, there were none available! These were presumably occupied mainly by the Germans, as be ”warned”, this hotel is geared mainly at them. Of the 20 or so TV channels, the only English ones were Sky News and BBC news, all the rest were German (even the Spanish channels were dubbed into German!). There were no coffee or milk sachets in our room. The shower leaked, the hairdryer blew up (it was replaced tbh). The food was bland, a lot of seafood, salami, etc. only saving grace was chips and pizza! We expected a lot more food wise and this was really disappointing. On the first nite in the dining room we weren’t greeted by staff or told what the procedure was. The dining staff were quite curt and unhelpful. We were “told off” several times for not wearing our wrist bands! We were half board and have never had to wear bands at any other hotel before. We don’t drink (only water) but We were made to feel like criminals for not confirming this! Rules were flaunted - people filling up bottles with water, people wearing sports gear in the dining room. There was building work in hotel opposite - so had drilling/banging from 9am until 7pm! Annoying when trying to relax round the pool. Not much wardrobe space for 2 people, no hooks or drawers, beds kept coming apart (we did ask them to be joined together, which they were). There were ants in the room, running along the headboard, where it looked like some of the sealant had deteriorated and they were probably nesting, the Balcony lights were on bright until midnight - would have been nice to sit in darkness at night on there, not to be constantly bright light! The 2 small splash pools on the roof top we’re a waste of space - would be better to have jacuzzis up there!one half of the roof terrace was cordoned off so you couldn’t see the sea. Wi-Fi did not work in the rooms, only in the main lounge. Air con wasn’t very cold. The entertainment was dire, mainly geared at over 70s. Felt a bit sorry for the younger ones staying there. (We are in our 60s). Only saving grace was the cleanliness and room cleaners were good. Sorry, but all in all this hotel was a let down and we wouldn’t recommend it.

“First time in Marieta”

The rooms are lovely and the rest is also lovely. Food has been good. Staff very pleasant and friendly, Zeben and Nico has been really nice. Housekeeping has been ok. Rooftop was good. I didn't like the exterior of the hotel and the seats from the lobby.
