YEAR IN YEAR OUT GREAT PLACE ALMOST ON THE BEACH. LOVELY POOL BASIC ROOMS ALWAYS CLEAN STAFF ARE THE BEST ON THE ISLAND ALWAYS HELPFULL. LOCAL BUSSES AND WATER TAXIS FOR NEARBY RESORTS AND FAMOUS MARKETS

This is a great hotel positioned on one corner of Cala Llonga bay. We were allocated room 112 which is blessed with a very large terrace overlooking the pool. There was one sun lounger in situ and we managed to magic up another sun lounger from not too far away. The room was comfortable, as was the large bed. There were a couple of niggles. As mentioned in previous reviews, the main lamp pendant is just at head height and bang in the middle of the room. We placed a shopping bag directly underneath it so avoided colliding with it when navigating the room. The other niggles were the shower was lukewarm (solved by running it for 10 minutes) and the strong smell of burnt plastic noticed on our third morning (solved by swapping a burnt electric kettle for a new one). We never did find the secret of getting hot water out of any of the sink taps despite prompt attention from maintenance. Breakfast is good with wide choice of buffet foods. We had one snack meal in the restaurant one evening which was fine. Very helpful staff, both at reception, in the restaurant and in house keeping. Would recommend as a good value hotel.

I have just returned from a relaxing week at the El Pinar. The Hotel is excellent and perfect for a low key chill out week. We were allocated Room 112 which is one flor up from the pool and bar area so idea. the image for the El Pinar shown is literally the view from our room. The room is plain and basic but clean and comfortable. you have a microwave, a toaster and kettle which sufficed for the limited prep we did. Basically a baguette for lunch and coffee. The bathroom is a little tired but serviceable. One thing for this specific room is raise up the central light pendant. It is too low foe me being 6ft 1 and I constantly walked into it. You could move the dining table underneath it but then the table would be an obstruction. A tiny observation. The room has Air Con which worked well for our week, Outside temps 28Deg. The Hotel Provides Free Wifi and its very good. We had a beautiful balcony (in fact two) which could easily have accommodation 2 sun loungers but there were none. Next door had a smaller area but had two? We had Bed and Breakfast and this was great. Full English with Rolls, Bread, fruit, yoghurts and pancakes etc. Plentiful. I note some other reviewers commented on the tables not being cleared. When we were there the guest self cleared the tables and the staff then arrived to wipe down and restock the cutlery etc. We never ate in the restaurant in the evening but the food we did see looked great. The hotel is located on the beach edge with around 10 steps to the beach level. The Beach is beautiful, cleaned every night and plenty of sun loungers although they could get expensive if you purchased everyday. we paid 21 euros for 2 loungers, a sunshade and table. The beach is perfect for kids as it is very shallow for at least 50ft walk in. There are plentiful bars and restaurants available just back from the beach. There is a daily boat service from the opposite side of the beach which can take you to Santa Eulalia, Es Cana westbound and Ibiza Town and Fortementura eastbound. Wednesday is the hippy market in Es Cana and a return boat trip is 20 Euros each.
