Multiacuatic

Multiacuatic was first opened with the idea of mixing fun with knowledge, making it one of the main places for cetacea observation. Built in 2005, Multiacuatic catamaran has a 16.50 m. length and 6.40 m. beam, spread out in two open decks, connected by two stairways. A ladder has been built to enter the boat, suitable for the elderly, the disabled and mothers with pushchairs.

The journeys

All of the journeys depart from Puerto Base de Puerto Rico (Mogán) and last approximately two hours. The excursions aboard the Multiacuatic cover the marine area between Maspalomas and Veneguera, 5 miles from the coast.

This tour usually goes from the coast into the sea to guarantee the sighting of dolphins and whales. Enjoy the waters considered of communal interest because of the rich habitat and home to species like the bottlenose dolphin.

Real Club de Golf de Las Palmas

The Real Club de Golf de las Palmas, opened in 1891, is the oldest golf club in Spain. This century-old golf course is located in la Caldera de Bandama, near the crater of an ancient volcano.

The huge hole (800 m. x 200 m.) creates a unique landscape that reminds us of Gran Canaria's volcanic origins. Surrounded by an exceptional plant and flower paradise, this place was considered by the guanches as a good place to live.

Play golf enjoying an unbelievable volcanic landscape. We would like to emphasise the amazing views over the sea and the deep and spectacular cliffs. It is a relatively short course, with narrow streets, small greens and deep cliffs. Located in the golf course is the Hotel Golf Bandama, built next to tee 1, for anyone who wants to enjoy a spectacular view of the golf course and the crater in an inviting atmosphere.

Embark in a journey of a thousand flavours

Many think the best way to get to know a place is through its food. In Gran Canaria you will embark in a journey of a thousand flavours: a combination of traditional dishes and daring modern flavours that result in unique gastronomical experiences. Taste the local fish and seafood cooked in a stew with potatoes and sweet potatoes and seasoned with the aromatic mojo. We recommend trying La Vieja, the Canary's signature fish, the home-made vegetable stews and the tasty fish soups. For meat-lovers we recommend baifo (goat meat), veal, chicken and rabbit meat. If you are looking for a more gourmet experience, we recommend a good Gran Canaria wine and a quality cheese: the flower cheese. On the dessert table you can find the famous Canarian bananas, mangoes and papayas. Gran Canaria is also land of delicious liquors. We sugget honey rum or Cobana, a rum made of bananas. Bon apetit!
