Hi to Nadine, Reuben and all the wonderful staff at the Humbria. Just back from our annual family holiday. They couldn’t do enough for us. Checking everything was ok all the time. How can you complain when you can eat and drink all you want? The snack bar suited the younger ones but also if you fancied a nibble always making fresh burgers, hot dogs, pizza, chips etc. Good idea to have the children’s splash pool, play park and kids club away from main pools but adults have to walk to get their drinks! Ha. The rooms were cleaned well. A kitchenette in each that we didn’t use but spacious 2 rooms. All had balconies to sit on. Pleasant walk to beach/ fishing village. Lovely spot to people watch and enjoy the sea view while having a drink. A bit steep coming back but no problem. The kids disco at 8 every night followed by other entertainment after. Loved this hotel and would highly recommend it.

What can I say ? Amazing 🤩from start to finish apart from the weather which I think the hotel staff would of changed for us if they could . Everything from the apartment , restaurant , pool bar , melody bar were great . The hotel and rooms were spotless . Food in the buffet restaurant was very good standard and varied with something for everyone. It was our first trip to Portugal and we’ll be back next year definitely. The star of the show were the staff from Rueben and Krystal the subdirectors to the bar and restaurant staff were so polite attentive in some cases funny and genuinely happy to see us and help us . 5 star all the way …. P.s please heat the pool 🥶 still went in though everyday with my daughter.

“Lovely Easter safe family holiday: 4*+.”

We visited for 9 days as a family of 4 who regularly travel to 4-5* AI for the 6 school holidays a year for short breaks and are repeat guests to 3HB Clube Humbria and loyalty cub members and booked direct. The quality, variety, range and daily specials of all food was excellent. The provision of a fast food takeaway (also offering quality healthy snacks) in the afternoon and late night was a very good idea. We loved the outdoor courtyard and there are 2 different dining rooms offering different ambiences to dine in plus a new front outdoor raised terrace to escape loud children! The provision of branded international spirits, fresh juices, milks, bottled local wine at dinner is fantastic. They also offer 2 freshly made healthy juices of the day. We also loved the bottled 0% beer and stout for a change during the day. The apartments and grounds are immaculate and very clean. All T1's have a large lounge with full kitchenette, bedroom, bathroom with shower over bath and have 2 large LED TV's with USB sockets. Cleaned and made daily with fresh towels and basic toiletries are provided incl. shampoo, conditioner, moisturiser and soap. The live music every night consisting of professional shows, visiting guest love bands and combination of on site entertainment staff was great. We particularly enjoyed 33lM Band and Portuguese night, it runs from 8.30pm, 9pm and 10pm-11pm. The programme of entertainment and activities are amazing. There is an on site small massage room for payable treatments, guest laundry, games room, teens tv lounge, large comfy reception with ATM and large screen TV showing football, pool bar with indoor are with a large screen, indoor theatre and lounge with a conservatory quiet area (which is perfect for sitting at night after dinner as you can see and hear the show and music but it is not too loud) and you can see you children playing and dancing in there. There is an onsite secure kids club open from 10-1 and 2-6pm with outdoor area plus a playground and splash pad and separate lovely new mini water splash pad park with 5 flumes for 7-17 years olds (20kg min) - No adults allowed. Some nice touches... FREE safe, secure WiFi, Kettle, Good hairdryer (in main bedroom by large mirror, Daily pool towel change, Gym, Microwave/Fridge-Freezer and Hob in room. Plenty of power sockets in apartment. Plenty of USB A 2.0 sockets in both TV's to charge headphones / phones. Large selection of good TV channels for free incl. BBC Entertainment, Disney's, MTV's. NB: Bring a travel iron as not provided due to H&S. Bring a good hair conditioner. Bring travel slippers and robe if required as not provided. Suggestions: Install a power socket in the bathroom for electric toothbrushes / shavers as none. Perhaps demolish an inner wall join two T1 apartments to create a T2 or T3 and charge a premium and include robes and slippers. There is demand for this. No complaints. It's a small-medium resort with so many hidden areas and secrets and plenty to do. Well done to all the staff who work so hard to please everyone and we hope they enjoy their rest days. Travelled through Jet2 with my wife and grandson over Easter 2024 28/03 - 04/04. Transfer time from Faro airport around 45 mins. We had special assistance arranged for my grandson via Jet2 and this was very helpful. As mentioned on other reviews the hotel is very clean and constant cleaning to keep it that way is in progress! The staff were all very friendly and especially when waiting to be seated at mealtimes would have a chat. The animation team work really hard. The pools were VERY cold so I'd recommend a wetsuit for children to give them some insulation. The main pool never had more than a handful of people in it because of this - Not sure if this warms up as the hot weather becomes more prevalent. The water park is a really great benefit of staying at this hotel with kids as they all seemed to love it. The buffet food was fine and there was always something for everyone. The beach is no more than a 5-10 min walk away (downhill) and is really nice. We enjoyed our time there - the sea was warmer than the pool! The room and bathroom once again are fine - no complaints but certainly no wow factor but we've stayed in better (and worse). We were unlucky with the weather (I think mid-March is the start of the season) as there were storms and torrential rain for the first few days and there is very little to do indoors - no indoor pool. We took a trip out to the Algarve Shopping Mall as it's enclosed - Approx 10 euros each way via Uber. One thing to note in our particular circumstance travelling with a grandchild with a different surname - if you are travelling with a child without his/her parents you will need written confirmation from them to allow the child to travel and also for Portugal there is a form to fill in. Only got this from Jet2 the day before we travelled! But I'm glad they did as it was checked and really on it's on the traveller to check this sort of thing. Lesson learned! I would return to this hotel and I would recommend it to family groups with children as the water park is really good - especially if the weather is more likely to be good!.
