We arrived to a very warm, professional welcome from the reception staff and that attitude and approach continued for the whole week, without fail, from everyone at the H10 which was exceptional!! The location of H10 is excellent as you are just c 10 mins walk to the beach, 20 mins to marina, shops, restaurants, bars. It was my wife's Birthday so I mailed ahead to see if we could get a ground floor room by the pool which we and it was a lovely location. The room was big, bright, v clean, great shower (And lovely shower gel / shampoo) and a very big and comfortable bed! The buffet restaurant was excellent with plenty of local and international cuisine along with fabulous fresh cooked eggs, omelettes, pancakes, bacon for breakfast and amazing fish and meats from the grill each day cooked by the wonderful singing chef! On our last evening there was a fab selection of excellent sushi which made my holiday...thankyou! We had snack lunches at the pool bar every day where the food and choice was fantastic and just right for lunch. The pool bar staff were so attentive and friendly...and also made excellent cocktails and other drinks through the day. The pool entertainment was a bit mixed so my feedback would be to think about audience and timing for the various music acts during the day / evening. An example would be a fantastic singer one afternoon c1pm with Motown / soul music at a comfortable volume to hear and hum along to whilst on the sunbed / at pool bar relaxing. On another morning c11.30 we had what sounded like an Ibiza night club DJ playing high tempo music (And they were good tunes!) but at full volume for nearly 3 hours...I could hardly hear myself think / speak and it just didn't work for me trying to relax / read on my sunbed ... Maybe that should have been later in day c3pm and not quite so loud??!! However, I really enjoyed the pool spinning / fitness class which was a great way to get some sun and and raise your heat rate for 30 mins! The sunbeds were plentiful and comfortable. Unfortunately a number of people would leave towels on beds to reserve from c7.30am(!!) to ensure they could "bake" all day in the same place every day by the pool...interesting that the Germans normally get accused of such practices and it was mainly Brits doing it!? However, the lifeguard managed the situation as best he could by putting notice blocks on those beds saying it could only be reserved until 9.30am and then he would remove the towels if no one was actually on the bed, and they would have to pick them up from the lifeguard station. It didn't bother us as we didn't want specific beds through the day and could always find a free bed when we wanted one as there seemed to be plenty! Overall, this was a fabulous week at H10, great staff, great bedrooms, excellent food and drink so overall had a relaxing and very enjoyable stay which I would highly recommend...we will return! “Pleasant stay”

Slightly delayed review of this hotel - overall we enjoyed our stay here back in March.Very clean and spacious room.Grounds are nicely kept and hotel ideally situated in central Playa Blanca.We thought the food was pretty good however my main gripe is the fact when the restaurant opens for breakf... more

Slightly delayed review of this hotel - overall we enjoyed our stay here back in March.Very clean and spacious room.Grounds are nicely kept and hotel ideally situated in central Playa Blanca.We thought the food was pretty good however my main gripe is the fact when the restaurant opens for breakfast at 8am the grill is not set up at all so the poor lady chef has to try and cook bacon, fried eggs,omelettes and pancakes etc whilst a long queue develops. This could easily be resolved by a) having more than one chef "show cook" and b) have them start earlier to get themselves prepared. We were one of many guests that found this a little frustrating. Overall however we were pleased with our stay here and would consider returning.

“Went away after a knee replacement to relax”

Hotel very clean …staff were lovely and polite,room was nice ,bed very hard so they put toppers on our bed…pool area was lovely but we never used due to people putting towels on the sun beds before breakfast…we spent our week going to the beach and chilling there.. Hotel very clean …staff were lovely and polite,room was nice ,bed very hard so they put toppers on our bed…pool area was lovely but we never used due to people putting towels on the sun beds before breakfast…we spent our week going to the beach and chilling there.. When it comes to the food in the hotel . All I can say is we went down to the sea front and had our meals there , Food at hotel was poor . We would go back to Lanzarote but not that hotel …

“Food disappointing ”

Here at the moment lovely location been here before we are coming to the end of our 12 nights. The standards have changed no dress code anymore we are half board but have eaten, out most of the nights food very disappointing .staff friendly room nice size probably could do with changing desks w... more

Here at the moment lovely location been here before we are coming to the end of our 12 nights. The standards have changed no dress code anymore we are half board but have eaten, out most of the nights food very disappointing .staff friendly room nice size probably could do with changing desks wardrobe etc as some damage on them that doesn't spoil my holiday the food on the other hand does maybe if I come back I will just do bed and breakfast
