“Wonderful holiday at H10 timanfaye palace”

Lovely hotel and rooms spacious. Food was delicious and always good choice. Always able to find a sunbed everyday and not the usual towels on beds first thing in morning and then left for hours. Heated pool was lovely and I enjoyed aqua aerobics everyday. Staff wonderful especially in the la bo... more

“Home away from Home - Perfect”

There's a reason this beautiful hotel has so many returning guests . This was my 3rd stay (2nd solo) and as always I loved it. Welcomed like your returning home and never made to feel alone. The staff from top to bottom are a credit to the H10 group , always a hello from everyone you meet and nothing is too much trouble. Peace and relaxation was what I needed and exactly what I got. Food and drink cannot be matched in my opinion compared to any other all inclusive and Privilege us worth it IMO especially if going solo. Privilege terrace is lovely on the evening for a drink before you go back up. Be sure to catch a glimpse of the sunsets each evening you won't be disappointed Stopped by reception to make some requests for my booking in September as I'm returning again with my parents and again couldn't be more helpful. Sat in the airport and counting down the days untill I'm back

A lovely hotel by the sea, really spacious so you never felt on top of others, great faclities, quality dining with every choice imaginable, a lovely terrace bar, large rooms with BIG comfy beds. Most importantly the staff were excellent, really efficient and friendly - an impressive team. Activities on offer - really relaxed and there if you want them - I played mini-golf one day - good fun. Evening shows every night - we didn't do the shows as we preferred to sit and chat in the bar - they were in a separate area so you could have a quiet drink if that's your preference. O.K. it's a great hotel but is it the place for you? If you like high quality hotels - definitely. If you want adults only - definitely. What about Playa Blanca and the hotel location? - it was our first time in Playa Blanca. I thought it was lovely - plenty of beaches, bars, shops but not over lively - a nice balance and a really nice atmosphere - clean, tidy - a really good holiday destination. There is a fantastic seafront avenue that runs for several miles, which the hotel has direct access to. There is a ferry (35 minutes) to Corralejo Fuertaventura - well worth a trip (the port is a 20 minute walk from the hotel). We had a nice walk round Corralejo and had a fantastic fresh fish lunch at El Anzuelo restaurant (5 minutes from ferry on seafront) - loved it and amazing value too! Playa Blanca is based along the coast so is quite strung out and the busier area is a 30+ minute walk from the hotel towards the marina. This suited us as we loved the quieter location we were in at the Timanfaya Palace and we like a stroll out too. There is a small beach with shops, supermarkets and cafes just 2 or 3 minutes from the hotel so you are definitely not isolated - just a bit quieter - the bigger bars and main shops are between the port(20 mins walk) and marina (1 hour walk). Or just ask reception for a taxi. We had a few drinks at the Irish Anvil - 20 minite walk. Go the other way and there is a one hour walk to the lighthouse - a lovely stroll along the seafront with a fantastic beach bar about three quarters of the way - we stopped on the way back - can't remember the name but you won't miss it - just how you imagine a great beach bar to be! We stayed local but Playa Blanca is near Timanfaya National Park - well worth a visit (from past experience). For travel information - Taxi from airport 60 euros (including tip) - same back even though we left at 4 in the morning! reception booked the return taxi for us. So I would recommend Playa Blanca for a great, relaxing holiday in the sun (a great escape from the months of rain in the UK!!) and the Timanfaya Palace was perfect for us. My hotel test is 'would I go back there?' and while I generally tend to holiday in different locations I would be really happy to go back to Playa Blanca one day and when I do I will be booking the H10Timanfaya Palace.
