The hotel was basic but as you would expect for the price. Room was clean and tidy and breakfast was excellent. The location is fantastic as a base to visit all of the wonderful sights of Rome. Termini station is literally just a couple of minutes walk.
no sure how to start.. staff are very friendly reception was clean and check in was swift.. the room was a tiny and I know I was a single person but struggled to get me and my case in.. the bed was clean and the cleaner was spot on but that done nothing for the decor.. in need of a lick of paint in that room. managed to get on hot shower in 5 nights. they say you get what you pay for and I have done some travel but even I was surprised that I was going to be staying in Harry Potters room under the stairs (wasn't actually in the stairs) they seem to combine 3 hotels in one building and a bit of a hostel that can be entertaining at 3 am.. everything you need surrounds the hotel..food.shops.the train station is 2 mins away.. Wifi passed the reception never happened. I will say that a lot of Italian Air force people checked in for random nights so I would say if your looking to get a few nights 3 max this could be the place for you... if your a Hilton honours member or like a hot shower maybe not so much. this is my review and not a moan i stayed and now I am going home safe and well so I don't think I can ask for anything more..
We had enough big room. it had a bathroom (medium size but not dirty). beds very comfortable. some nice wardrobes. people very kind and tolerant. downstairs next to the reception there is a wi fi connection. i think its good enough. every morning you have nice breakfast. some bread, ham cheese, coffee tea juice jam. believe me ! you won t be hungry.;) its near to central. you have also there termini station. from there you can go whereever you want in rome.
Don't be fooled by the air conditioned reception and the friendliness of the staff. The rooms are a different matter. We had 3 rooms and the following is a "summary" of what was there:- The rooms are in desperate need of redecoration, the wash basin in one room was not fixed to the wall, in another room the toilet seat was not fixed to the toilet and the toilet door was hanging off its hinges. The curtains were hanging off the rails and could not be drawn. There were sections of skirting missing. The bedside "cabinets" we're badly worn, perhaps somebody had been using them for a work bench????? The pillows were badly stained and needed to be burnt.
We paid 30 euros to use this room to shower and store our bags after we had to check out of our apartment nearby. The receptionist was lovely, friendly and helpful. The room itself was horrendous and I am very glad we didn't have to sleep there. No air con, no hair dryer, no TV, but more importantly just a dump. Pay a little more and stay somewhere else. One positive thing I will say it that the location is good and there's wifi in the lobby. Honestly, just for the extreme budget traveller.
