“Loved this place”

I loved this hotel located near the beach, and will most likely return. Very clean. The staff was polite smiling and very helpfull. The food was good, with plenty of options. The room satisfying with a beatiful view. Good fascilities. Only bad thing was the coffee.

The pool area is in need of updating and the photos shown online seem more flattering than in person, it’s old and crumbling. The communal areas smell old and musty.

“Hotel okay - staff doing their best.”

The hotel was very clean and our room serviced every day, on arrival there were only two very small paper disposable cups for hot drinks. The hotel was very clean and our room serviced every day, on arrival there were only two very small paper disposable cups for hot drinks. These were not replaced so we went and purchased two plastic mugs from a shop nearby which we used for the rest of the weeks stay. We did have a beach view side balcony, to the right the view was okay but the view was also of the back of ours and the hotel next door which had rubbish on between ground and first floor. We had the view of the bins etc and the sound of kitchen staff working, smashing glass (recycling), lorry deliveries etc. - we had requested a quiet room. Staff were in the main, very helpful (especially Jeorge) couple of staff on reception were a bit abrupt. Pools were very cold and surrounding areas a bit shabby, way too many sunbeds and hardly any small tables. If you wanted a drink you had to dress and go upstairs to main reception lounge bar area which was a bit a bit of a downside (sometimes had to wait a fair while for a member of staff – not their fault. Regarding entertainment the singer on the Saturday evening was good but there was hardly anything else all week except for the large TV screen in the main lounge/reception area which showed sports. The lighting everywhere in the hotel was exceptionally bright (LED) which gave the areas a lack of ambience and produced a stark cold feeling, a felt a strain on the eyes. The hotel would benefit from having general hotel information in the reception and hotel rooms. The buffet food was average - catering and waiting staff were doing a great job with replenishing etc. The hotel is situated in a very good location, easy for train station, buses etc.
