“Great family friendly hotel.”

Really spacious rooms cleaned daily, enjoyed the food in the restaurant. We were on half board and enjoyed a bottle of wine most nights, available at a reasonable price. Can't praise the restaurant staff enough, who were rushed off their feet but still eager to help with anything. thanks go out to Imed, Miguel, Beatriz, Viccenza, and the rst of the serving staff. Thanks also to Fabio in the bar, who we remember from previous visits. A special thanks to Sara, Santi and the entertainments team who do an amazing job with children an adults alike.

“Great staff!!”

Arrive after a 15 min taxi from the airport and initial impressions are positive - reception clean and sparkly, friendly greeting, and the restaurant is kept open so we can grab some lunch. Up to the room - it's a bit drab, more functional than charming, certainly not like the web-site photos...... more

Arrive after a 15 min taxi from the airport and initial impressions are positive - reception clean and sparkly, friendly greeting, and the restaurant is kept open so we can grab some lunch. Up to the room - it's a bit drab, more functional than charming, certainly not like the web-site photos.... however it looks and smells clean, is well sized for a couple, and has a decent shower, comfortable bed, and big balcony. Food was OK - a bit repetitive, and occasionally some queuing - best avoided by coming early, or late. Evening entertainment - starts with mini-disco, then bingo, and finally singing/dancing acts geared towards the older Spanish guests (this was the best bit for us). Probably changes as the season gets going... We found the pool areas generally well maintained and not too crowded. Snack bar by the pool was good, with normally hot food available. There's not much around the hotel - 20 mins walk to the nearest beach, similar to Torremolinos town. Taxis can be called by reception (or download the taxi App - Pide Taxi). Alternatively use Uber - there didn't seem to be much difference price wise if used locally. Bus stops and train stations for Malaga, and other Costa resorts close to hotel. If you fancy going to Malaga (definitely recommended) and don't want to use public transport, then we found Uber cheaper than a taxi. Checking pricing at different times is worth doing, we found the price was as low as 14 euro one-way around 9.00/10.00 am, rising to 35 later... The definite highlight of our week was the hotel staff... shout out to Imed, Fabian, Macerana, in fact everyone - a credit to the hotel, and made our stay very enjoyable!

“Great hotel”

Checkin was very quick and efficient (it was 2am) the restaurant had remained open so we could eat when we arrived which was brilliant. The room was huge for me and my daughter and was spotlessly clean. Beds very comfortable. Splash park and pools are brill but very cold. Kids club was fab- lovel... more

Checkin was very quick and efficient (it was 2am) the restaurant had remained open so we could eat when we arrived which was brilliant. The room was huge for me and my daughter and was spotlessly clean. Beds very comfortable. Splash park and pools are brill but very cold. Kids club was fab- lovely staff, in fact all the staff were great. The all inclusive food was very repetitive , lots of fish and shell fish but was always fresh. The bread and pastries were delicious as were the salads. The desserts all contained far too much gelatine and were pretty disgusting but there was ice cream that was good . All in all a great holiday and would return The hotel is quite a distance from beach and town but the buses are regular.

We have recently returned from a 6 night stay at Aluasun costapark, family of 4 (2 adults, a 12 yr old and 15 yr old). First impressions of the hotel were that the hotel is very close to the airport (around 15 mins transfer from Malaga airport). What the hotel do well - The staff are by far the friendliest hotel staff we have ever met. Special mention goes to Imed restaurant manager, Ingred at reception and Ricardo and Sara from entertainment. Each of these staff members go above and beyond everyday. The junior suite we stayed in was very clean and huge- ideal for a family of 4. The view is breathtaking (Ingred gave us a fifth floor room because of the view). The tokens for cups is a great idea, you pay 1 euro deposit for a thick plastic cup that you can use at the outdoor areas. This meant a tidy poolside and no overflowings bins and no ants everywhere. The in house bakery in the restaurant makes the best pastries in the morning. The restaurant staff are amazing at what they do, speaking various languages to interact with every guest. They are very quick to clear tables and tidy. The location of the hotel was great for us as we wanted a chill out week and thats what we did. The free bus into centre/beach is great and literally a 2 min walk from the hotel. Lots of juice and tea/coffee machines in the restaurant along with microwaves. The small mall under the hotel is great for picking up things- not overly priced either. Aldi, Lidl and Burger King are all a 10 minute walk along the road. We asked to watch a particular football game in the lobby bar tv which the staff were happy to put on for us and even left us the tv remote. The All Inclusive drinks are marked on the bar drinks menu- which is a great idea and the measures are very generous. Things I would change/other travellers should know - Before you book, look into world of hyatt membership and collect the loyalty points. Although there is a safe in the room, there is a 20 euro deposit for the key and a daily charge to use the safe. The food in the buffet restaurant is good, however the theme nights did not have as much variety as other hotel chains. Our room on the 5th floor had no wifi unless you were hanging over the balcony. Ingred from reception did offer to move us, but we decided to sacrifice the wifi signal for the view from the 5th floor. Although the hotel overlooks a main road, the balcony door and curtains closed blocks out most of the noise.
