In Porto, you'll see incredible views from atop the Torre dos Clérigos, you'll experience quirky tram rides and, of course, you'll get to taste excellent Portuguese wines at one of its ancient wineries. In the capital Lisbon, the main symbol is another tower, the Torre de Belém, which together with the Jerónimos Monastery and the steeply-sloped streets will be etched on your memory forever. And don't forget its cuisine. Both in the metropolis and the smaller towns you'll discover a unique universe full of textures, colours and flavours. You simply can't go back home without trying the delicious cod dishes, a bowl of feijoadas (stew of beans with beef and pork) or some of the famous cream or custard tarts. Apart from the two big cities, on this tour you'll have time to lie on the heavenly beaches of the Algarve and visit the lively and youthful Coimbra, known as the "Oxford of Portugal".
