Mindel Hotel is not a 4* hotel in Western standards but I think you should not expect that when coming to the island of Sao Vicente. poor poor poor customer service. their hot water system is trash but then again that might just be the country itself. great location however, restaurant below par, horrible service, nothing on the menu. poor island.

“Legit”
I would rate Mindel as a mean rate hotel, whatever this means. It is clean and located downtown which making it attractive for businesses trip. Don’t have great expectations. It is a legit hotel for stay and meals. Nothing more nothing less.
