Currently here now after one week of pure relaxation. Junior suite 210. I can say this is the top All Inclusive hotel we have ever experienced. Closest to compare would be Hotel XCaret Mexico (same price). The service, food, activities and location are far superior. We really enjoyed all the activities especially El Conocos cassava flour making and sounds of the plants. Sadly we were the only 2 that attended Randy and Emily did a fantastic job. They put a lot of effort into these activities and wish more attended! Yubartas Yoga, meditation, sound healing done by all the staff there was also incredible. Very unique experience no other resort offers. (Maybe Bodyholiday St Lucia but $$$$$$ and not as nice hotel/food imo) Food was mostly unbelievably good. We loved all the restaurants. Lobster, Rib eye steak, tuna poke bowl, Grilled seafoods and Waygu burger was definitely our favorites. Some items were a miss such as several of Sendas Dominican taste menu items the ingredients did not pair well together and the miso soup at Carey. Mixed drinks were also all amazing. Lemon daiquiris was a fave at beach bar. Pools were great! There is two. Always a chair free and they place two towels on them for you with a towel, water and sunscreen station. Beach is small but great swimming area with a mix of sand, sea grass and some areas to snorkel around. Kayaks, paddleboards also available. Would we go back? Absolutely! I don't want to leave tomorrow! The grounds are quite unique, beautiful and the whole resort island experience is very different from the rest. They also take very close attention to little details and you can tell it's managed extremely well. Special thanks to staff members Jairo around the pool area always having water and towels ready. Himenez in all restaurants making sure my wine and cervesa never went dry. Maria at breakfast remembering my drink order and table preferences. Randy and Emily taught us so much about plants and some DR history. Also to all ambassadors they were all very quick response and super helpful. Hope to see you next year!

We stayed at Cayo Levantado Resort for a week and it exceeded all our expectations. The food, the service, the focus on health and wellness, the installations, and the tasteful decoration were all outstanding. They truly leave no loose ends. The breakfast buffet was excellent, and the steakhouse Manaya was our favorite restaurant. Even the room service menu was top tier, which is something many resorts overlook. A special mention goes to Yubarta, the resort’s health and wellness center, where they host yoga, meditation, and sound healing sessions. Both the facilities and the instructors are exceptional—beautifully designed spaces and extremely professional guidance that make the entire wellness experience feel authentic and thoughtfully curated. Overall, this is one of the most complete resort experiences we have had.

Where to start, Fabulous hotel, super clean and really great staff, super friendly and very helpful. We had a junior suite in the main hotel and it was beautiful, room attendants outstanding and left you a little gift every day. The food wasn’t really to our choice but that’s not to say it’s bad it was very good just a bit fancy for us with foams and emulsions etc. Plenty of vege and vegan options but I don’t like tvp. We found the beach too busy and almost like a separate resort so we chose to stay by the top pool by Santa Yuca which was very peaceful and we had to ourselves for the most of each morning. The bar ladies there were fabulous and looked after us really well. Our preferred place to eat was Santa Yuca as the menu was a little simpler. A special buffet was held on Valentines in Palma Real and the food there was really good, a lot of choice and would’ve suited us all holiday. The room service was also included and helped us , very good too. The ladies at the front bar, Coa, were great, sorry we can’t recall your names but again really looked after us as did the head of F & B, brilliant chap. Sadly our Ambassador was over promised and under delivered, took an age to come back to us on anything, didn’t see him the last four days even. Other people were saying how good theirs were but those who had the same as us also said they felt him very poor. A shame because it’s a good sell. The public beach is nice but very busy so ours was a very quick visit, the stall holders do hassle you a bit. It’s a shame that the amount of noise from the public arriving is so much it somehow takes away from what the resort is advertised as., it really is chaotic. Thoroughly recommend doing the cassava workshop and music of the plants, really interesting and the plants especially fascinating. Finally, the Whale watching, if the boats full it’s not too enjoyable as you’re all elbowing for a view. There are a lot of Whales but as soon as the boats approach they do leave quickly. We asked the guy to let us know if only a few going and he did so next time there were only 6 of us which was much better. The aim was to go everyday when we booked the holiday but it wasn’t quite as we’d thought it would be although certainly worth doing. Last but certainly not least, do use the coffee house, it’s great., again great staff. To end on a low, the transfer from Punta Cana was a bit of a nightmare, over 4 hours and our driver spoke no English, so didn’t even try to engage which made a long journey. On the way home we had the same driver for transfer, it was appalling. He stopped very quickly to check tyres, then he stopped soon after for a toilet and coffee break, soon after another coffee break. We indicated our watches as we were worried for time. I then noticed the car drifting and shouted to him, he was obviously tired and finding it difficult to stay awake but made an excuse to go check his wheel and kicked it. When we finally got there with little time to spare he took us to the wrong terminal . A sad way to end a really good holiday. Would I go back? Absolutely yes but for the hellish transfer. The hotel itself was fabulous.
