“New, quiet, comfortable beds, friendly”

We frequently stay at Sites in Monteria, and were glad to see they opened one in Medellin. It’s in El Poblado, but away from the clubs, noise, and hookers around Parque Lleras. We frequently stay at Sites in Monteria, and were glad to see they opened one in Medellin. It’s in El Poblado, but away from the clubs, noise, and hookers around Parque Lleras. The beds are very comfortable, the hotel is clean, quiet, attractive, and the staff is friendly. The restaurant on the top floor has good snacks and a view of the city. We got a great price between Christmas and New Year.

Hotel Sites in Medellin is fantastic. The rooms and beds are very comfortable. The neighborhood is safe and walkable with several delicious restaurants nearby. The employees are professional, helpful and courteous. They had two restaurants when we went this past July. The first floor restaurant serves the delicious breakfast that comes included with the room fee. But they also serve a delicious lunch and dinner. They have a Manhattan Burger that if you like hamburgers, this burger than any I've tasted lately in the USA. They now have a top floor restaurant that serves Italian food. The view from that top floor especially at night, is beautiful. The food was great. We tried several of their pizzas and their lychee soda. Delicious. We stayed in a two bedroom suite. It was a little extra, but given that our daughters are now teenagers, we all need our privacy. This was our fourth or fifth time staying at Hotel Sites. It's the only place that we stay at when we visit Medellin. The only complaint that we do have is that Hotel Sites no longer has a laundry room. On the top floor they have a small pool, a small gym, and they used to have a laundry room with several washers and dryers that you could use. When you have a family, which we do, and you are staying for several days, which we do, you need to wash and dry clothes. Sites will tell you they have a laundry "service," but when you see the price list of something like $4 to wash a pair of shorts...that's too expensive. To make space for the top floor restaurant they had to eliminate the laundry room. I would seriously ask for them to figure out somehow to get that laundry room back. They also told us that we could find a laundromat nearby in the city. That's an inconvenience to have to go somewhere else and spend time and money, where the laundry room used to be in the hotel. Despite the loss of the laundry room , which is important to us as a family, we would still highly recommend Hotel Sites. The place, the people, the food, the beds are excellent.

“This hotel was a hidden gem.”

This was my first visit to Medellin, and this hotel was exceptional for its friendly staff, cleanliness, breakfast, rooms, views, pool, and especially its decor. This was my first visit to Medellin, and this hotel was exceptional for its friendly staff, cleanliness, breakfast, rooms, views, pool, and especially its decor. A special shout out to Juliana, who always had a spectacular smile, spoke perfect English, and made interactions much more pleasant. Another honorable mention goes to the breakfast crew who make sure you get a great meal.

“Good hotel that just needs to address a couple of issues to become a great hotel!”

Hotel location is amazing, staff are very kind and breakfast is good. Also, the rooftop jacuzzi has stunning views! Our room definitely had mold as our allergies were activated anytime we were in the room. No venting in bathrooms is probably the cause. Also, housekeeping was poor….our floors were… more

Our room definitely had mold as our allergies were activated anytime we were in the room. No venting in bathrooms is probably the cause. Also, housekeeping was poor….our floors were very dirty….we even started taking note of obvious dirt/hair on floor and when we’d come back to room, it was still there. We only had towels replaced, bed made (sheets not replced) and a wipe down of bathroom sink. Also, told front desk that our main bathroom sink was very clogged and backing up. It was never fixed or addressed even though they promised it would be. If they address housekeeping and maintenance, which are easy fixes, then this hotel could be an amazing hotel! Staff was always kind and hospitable though!
