“LIVING LIKE A KING ON A PEASANT BUDGET”
Title says it all! I have traveled the world, The Montecarlo, Tolu rivals the Grand Canyon and Venice. The staff accommodated every request with a smile. The second floor balcony view of the beach was as intoxicating as my beverage.

“Great beach views, good value”
The best thing about Hotel Montecarlo was the second floor patio, which had perfect internet access and a spectacular view of the beach. The rooms are totally acceptable budget hotel rooms - about $20/night, AC in the evenings, no hot water (which is standard in Tolu).

“Average on the good side...”
The price is right, the parking on site is free and you get decent wifi. Oh, and you're right on the beach… That's the plus side. The rooms on the other hand need lots of TLC, basic is putting it lightly. But the place was clean, we slept well and didn't break the bank in the process! Hope this rev… more

“Decent Budget Choice in Tolu”
If you need an inexpensive, basic place to stay in Tolu, Hotel Montecarlo works. The rooms are big (lots of families staying here) and clean. You can pay for a room with a/c, which also has a ceiling fan. (We paid COP 50,000, about $26, which didn't include breakfast.) Only cold water in the ba… more
