Arriving late in San José, the Courtyard in Alajuela is at the place. “Basic but adequate”
This hotel is adequate for an overnight stay near the airport for an early morning flight. Basic rooms and services, great shuttle to the airport (makes a sweep every 30 minutes) and remarkably decent food at the restaurant despite the roadside diner dive vibe.
