“wonderful hostel”
The location is very good and in the center of San Jose. The reception is very friendly and helpful. The room is quite big and very quiet. The breakfast is delicious and lots of choice. The price is valuable for to stay.Also there are excretion service to travel in Casta Rica.

“Great bargin in the center of San Jose”
Old but Clean and safe. Exceptional staff. Under new managemet change is underway to brighten up the hotel. “Great location but souless place!”
Hotel El Maragato is fine if you're looking for somewhere close to the centre of San Jose for a night or two, it's literally 100m from Teatro Nacional. The photos on booking.com are not reflective of what you get, call it artistic licence! The rooms are tired and souless although the price is good … more
