“Fab apartment with great view”

My friend and I stayed in the top floor apartment in this block. Firstly the owner was lovely and gave us a complimentary carafe of wine and bunch of grapes on our stay. The apartment was super clean, plenty of room, with amazing views of the Port with the daily cruise liners arriving. The accommodation was very large in size, with a separate bedroom. The bathroom was big, with a fabulous shower, powerful with hot water. Kitchen had good facilities, with full size fridge, microwave, cooker, kettle etc. The apartment had a flat screen TV (but we did not use in our week stay), also a decent hairdryer. It is just a few minute walk to the bar and restaurant area, a fairly steep hill out the back of the apartment, and beautiful coastal walks. You can also walk to the town along the main road, which does not involve the steep hill. There is a fabulous bakery a few minutes walk along the main road towards the town, with very reasonable priced local pastries etc. I would recommend the day trip to Bosnia (Mostar), a very pretty old town, stopping at waterfalls along the way, and a very reasonbly priced day trip booked through the company in the town centre

I had to climb two flights of stairs to reach the apartment. The room was spacious and serene, apart from the smaller well equipped bathroom, but that wasn't a big detractor. It was right in the heart of the historic town. The room had a small window overlooking the street. The curtain was sparse and barely filtered out the light. The bed was comfortable and soft. It had a small comfortable sofa to lounge on and relax. The owner was very hospitable. Her tone was casual and friendly. The kitchenette was tiny and cramped. carrying suitcases up the staircase was a task. Overall, I would recommend this apartment for budget travelers who want a well placed apartment and basic accommodations.

Lovely apartment. Nice and clean with a sunny balcony with a fantastic view of the harbour and all the ocean liners. Oven with grill, kettle, microwave and panini maker, washing up liquid, hand wash, hairdryer, television, free air conditioning and safe included. Only downside - it was an attic apartment and even though I am not very tall I had to bend double when I got out of bed and banged my head a couple of times. The plus side being we did not have any disturbance up there. Just a lot of steps, as there is no lift. Our luggage was carried up for us but not when we left. We were there 10 days and had no clean bed linen. Where I have stayed before we always get a change. Towels were changed twice. Lovely towels to start off with. The last lot were very thin and more like sandpaper, so we kept hold of the previous ones to dry ourselves on. The apartments are situated up a steep hill. We found a quicker way up and down to the centre. You need to be relatively fit for this, which we were by the end of the holiday if not before. There are buses on the main road - equivalent to £1.50 to £2 (depending how you buy your tickets). Good to use if you are going to the Old City of Dubrovnik. You pay the same price no matter how long the journey. The boat trips round the islands are well worth it.

“Ok for a short stay on the way somwhere”

It's OK for a short stay on the way to Dubrovnik, but quite expensive to the location and quality you get. Not much stuff in surroundings - it takes almost an hour to walk to the downtown. In the morning car was very dusty. We were asked to take our garbage with us.
