When you visit Dubrovnik really all that matters is the location you're staying! When you visit Dubrovnik really all that matters is the location you're staying! There are no public toilets around and about, and this apartment is in literally the best location to get to everything. It's inside the walls, so it's brilliant to nip back to when you need to. It's just above a pizza restaurant so our room did have a bit of a smell to it, but really we just needed a bed for a few nights and this place worked just perfectly! Thanks to the host that checked us in - she recommended some great places to us and was super friendly!!

“Excelent location”

Excelent location in old town. Very small room with a bathroom. The shower doesn’t have a door so it’s a bit messy. It’s not an apartment but it is ok for a couple of days stay, not much longer . Very comfortable bed indeed. We missed more pillows though. There is no cleaning while hosted and they… more

Excelent location in old town. Very small room with a bathroom. The shower doesn’t have a door so it’s a bit messy. It’s not an apartment but it is ok for a couple of days stay, not much longer . Very comfortable bed indeed. We missed more pillows though. There is no cleaning while hosted and they do not change cups, glasses from the bedroom. The location is worth it .

I suppose this apartment had everything we needed given that we weren’t in the apartment much and it was in an excellent location to explore the old town. We had advised the owner of our arrival time so she knew when to check us in, but apparently she was unable to be there and we were greeted outside by a waitress from the pizza restaurant below (which used the same entrance as the apartments). She showed us to our room and advised the owner would be around at some point. She was a difficult lady to contact should we have any issues - we relayed on the pizza staff calling her. The room was not as shown in the photos. I think our room was the only one that hadn’t been photographed. I get the impression ours was maybe still awaiting a makeover that the others had received, with a bright red thick carpet! The room was tiny, but the bathroom was nice and it had aircon. However we had a room with no kitchenette and there were no tea or coffee making facilities. As we arrived late it would have been nice to at least have had some complimentary water in the room. All in all it does the job for a budget room if location is more important to you than anything else!

We booked the Ivory apartments for 2 nights in the old town to start off our holiday. When we were dropped off at the main gate we had no idea where to go, however a nice local policeman showed us the way. When we got to the apartment it was clear we would have never have found it ourselves as the entrance was tucked away and the same entrance to a pizzeria kitchen. There was a sign outside but it was so small you would have never have seen it while walking around. The owner greeted us at around 11pm and showed us straight to our room. Our room was small but as only a base suited our needs. As we were still acclimatising the first night we found it extremely hot and put the air con on. This was extremely loud but did the job and kept us cool. In the morning we noticed there was only 1 towel between the 2 of us so we ended up sharing for 2 days which was the most disappointing thing, as it was apartments the owner was not present to ask for another so had to make do. The apartment was tidy and clean(ish) although could do with a deep clean and a spruce up. There were chips in the shower basin and a couple of odd hairs on the floor. There was a terrace but we never used it so could not comment on this. Location was excellent and completely central within the old town walls which allowed us to explore and touch base in between easily to pick things up or change. Overall good apartment and would recommend if you are looking for a base only, if you are looking for an apartment to spend some time in on your trip then this is probably not the best place in my opinion.
