Fantastic hotel with the most amazing views! We decided to go half board and the food was great. So much choice and something for everyone. All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is spotless and well run. There are plenty of spaces to relax. The bus stop is just down from the hotel and is fantastic. You can buy tickets in the hotel shop.

We have just come back from this hotel Sunday 19th October. WE had 11 days there. Weather for this time of year was good although night time started to cool. First would like to say maybe just slightly out the way, but plenty buses and taxis plus you can walk to places. Our view of the hotel was excellent. Spotlessly clean. Our room we had no complaints. The buffet restaurant for breakfast had a massive choice. Nice bar at nights to relax. Staff whether it was cleaners, reception every one was so help full and friendly. As i like a beer i spent a lot of time at the bar so special thanks to them for there efficiency and friendliness and good knowledge of drinks when customers asking them. Well run bar by Philip and his team. Allen and Jackie (SCOTLAND).

This was an Easyjet package and was very smooth overall The hotel is in a lovely situation with great views.The pools are super and indoor one useable when outside is just too cold Down side of the situation is that winds can make it a bit chilly with not much shelter The spa is nice and I had a great facial which was no pricier than home Our room was, as advised, a garden room but it got no sun and was shaded by big trees.We did think of asking to be moved but didn't follow through The bed was very good, big shower, good towels.Put up your do not disturb otherwise uou risk a cleaner knocking the door at 8 30.We could hear the hoovers before that! Service was generally good apart from the pool bar about which we left specific feedback It was entirely in dark shade and they would not serve food 5 feet away in the sun ! we had to order the pizza as takeaway and bring it out, the staff didn't tell us it was ready and so it was cold when we eventually picked it up...we were sitting right outside Several people were totally puzzled by the approach to service at the pool bar and it wasn't busy as a consequence, it really does need a new approach We had a DBB deal .The food was mostly good with a big choice at both breakfast and dinner and no problem if you are vegetarian or pescetarian.Still buffets have their limitations and if to prefer waiter service/ a la carte it might not be for you We found that prices for drinks were pretty high .both in the hotel and surrounding area.I think it is a kind of higher end area ( Babin Kuk) and we found no cheap bars .The no 6 bus goes to Dubrovnik pretty speedily with cheap tickets from the hotel shop or get an uber Coming back can be a bit of a melee! You can walk to Lapad area in both directions though only the promenade walk has bars the other way is wooded and shady but also has nice views We only learned about walks etc by word of mouth and felt there could have been some more general information We enjoyed the entertainment, all musical , not cutting edge but well done by 4 different performers over the week One thing we found interesting was the "day" beds around the hotel so folk would be having a wee doze or reading or just chilling in reception or the big downstairs lounge !

Ottimo hotel 4 stelle situato nell'area di Lapad, sufficientemente distante dalla confusione del centro storico di Dubrovnik ma al tempo stesso facilmente raggiungibile in autobus oppure con taxi Bolt (costo da 10 a 15 euro). Bellissime le piscine con grandiosa vista panoramica sulla baia. Volendo per gli ospiti è possibile accedere anche alla bella spiaggia del vicino Valamar President Hotel (al prezzo scontato di 25 euro per un ombrellone e 2 lettini). Ottimo anche il servizio, con personale cortese e sempre disponibile. Il cibo, sia a colazione che a cena, è stato davvero di prima classe, con una grande scelta e sempre di ottima qualità. Un unico appunto riguarda la colazione: per le centinaia di ospiti presenti in hotel, era disponibile una sola postazione per il caffe/cappuccino/the con inevitabili code per servirsi. Oltretutto si trattava di una piccola macchina automatica, davvero deludente per un hotel di lusso a 4 stelle, in questo caso non in linea con gli standard europei. L'hotel ospita anche grandi gruppi di comitive: fin qui niente di male, se non fosse che, nelle belle giornate di sole, nella zona delle piscine non ci sono lettini a sufficienza per tutti gli ospiti, con inevitabili disagi per gli stessi. Inoltre, nelle giornate in cui sono state ospitate le comitive, per la cena - molto prima dell'apertura del ristorante - si formavano lungo code degli ospiti, in attesa di prendere d'assalto il buffet serale. Una situazione che invece non si verificava nelle serate in non erano presenti le comitive in hotel. Riguardo alla nostra camera vista mare, noi l'avevamo prenotata - e immediatamente pagata - con 6 mesi di anticipo. La vista mare non era male, peccato che fosse limitata perché per metà era ostruita da un muro perimetrale dell'hotel. Certamente l'hotel disponeva di camere con una vista mare migliori di quella assegnata a noi, parzialmente a vista muro di cemento. A questo punto non si comprende con quale criterio vengano assegnate le camere vista mare. Probabilmente un criterio casuale, senza tenere conto delle priorità di prenotazione. In definitiva non si capisce quale sia il vantaggio di prenotare - e pagare - con 6 mesi d'anticipo - quando magari, prenotando all'ultimo momento "last minute" - sia abbia la possibilità di ottenere una camera vista mare in una posizione migliore della nostra, molto probabilmente ad un prezzo inferiore di quanto abbiamo pagato noi. Considerando l'esperienza avuta, sconsiglio di prenotare (e pagare) questo hotel in largo anticipo, perché sembra che non vi è alcun vantaggio concreto nell'assegnazione della vostra camera.
