Rating based on what we paid for- being an apartment. Great location in the middle of old town. Comfortable beds, clean. As per other reviews, o shower, just a hand held shower head over a bath so difficult to “shower” or was my hair. Bathroom large but wasted space due to pitched roof. No shelf to put toiletries. Wardrobe only fits shirts, not full length. We were on the top floor and there’s no elevator so you need to carry your suitcases up 3 floors. It can be a little noisy at night but not problem with the supplied earplugs. Overall I recommend this accommodation.

“Great location for walking around the town. ”

The location of this hotel was awesome as it was right in the middle of the town. This has some draw backs but the positive is better than the negative. The location of this hotel was awesome as it was right in the middle of the town. This has some draw backs but the positive is better than the negative. Negative, it can be a bit noisy, but the noise ends at midnight. We slept right through it. You can hear the buzz in the morning as deliveries start to arrive, but it is not as noisy as the evenings. Only drawback is the room we had did not have a shower. Just a tub with a hand held shower head. We made do but would have preferred a shower to be honest.

Wonderful location right in the heart of the Old Town and the hosts go out of their way to make sure your stay is comfortable. They will wheel your luggage to/from the taxi stand outside the city walls, help arrange for tours, etc. The rooms are modern and clean with comfortable beds, good A/C and Nespresso machines. That being said, the rooms vary in size from larger and comfortable to tiny and claustrophobic and not all have showers, so make sure you know what you are getting. Because this is a tiny hotel (only 5 rooms) and there is no reception area, no elevator (only a spiral staircase), and no central amenities, it felt more like an upscale Airbnb than a hotel. Depending on your preference, that could be either good or bad. If you need more coffee, towels, etc., for example, you have to send a message via What’sApp and the host will bring the item(s) as soon as they can. The breakfast that was included with our stay was extremely disappointing. It was offered at a restaurant down the street, which was lovely, but there was a choice of only 4 items – 3 egg dishes and a basket of croissants. Although the hotel and restaurant were able to accommodate my dietary needs (no eggs, no gluten products), what I received was disappointing. No option for fruit, yogurt, cheese, etc. As one reviewer mentioned, there is a pub across the street so depending upon which way your room faces, it could be quite noisy, but it is not an issue with all the rooms. If you are looking to stay in the old town, this is one of the better priced options, so it’s a matter of personal preference weighing location against a larger hotel and amenities.

Rooms are tiny, location is good but it’s in a very busy area opposite an irish pub. We got very little sleep, people were in the pub all night.. They have no reception area, no views, no pool. Host was nice though. Paper thin walls so you could hear your neighbour’s. I would stay in future just outside the old town.
