We have recently returned from a 2 week stay at the Villa Antea Apartments which we thoroughly enjoyed. The apartment block has a lovely traditional style, our apartment was spacious and comfortable and our balcony had a wonderful view. The housekeeping was second to none with daily towel changes and frequent cleaning. With a safe, fridge, 2 burner electric cooker and a microwave plus sufficient pans and utensils we had everything we needed for self catering. This is family run and family and staff were friendly and helpful. I would have no hesitation in recommending Antea Apartments.

This is our 10th visit to Lapad, Dubrovnik and we stayed at Villa Antea every time. They are friendly, gave good hospitality and give good service to their guests. It is a neat and clean place and the pool on the top is just amazing to view the sunset from! The only thing that disappointed us this time was the closed bars and restaurants around sunset beach Dubrovnik, which is our favorite beach. We brought our own sun mattress and parasoll and had an awesome time anyway. The walkway to the beach are full with nice restaurants, bars and small shops where you can buy what you need for a day at the beach. There are also other beaches in the area.

This is a 3 Star self catering building of 16 apartments with fantastic views (for us) out over the sea and mountains. One bedroom apartment is clean and tidy with a great comfy bed, nice linen and towels. The star rating is evident with some of the ‘tireder’ aspects of the place (such as taped up air con unit). That said the kitchenette is adequately furnished, great it has bin beads, washing up liquids etc so you don’t feel the need to go straight to do a ‘big shop’ at one of the small local supermarkets. Most of Europe is fairly expensive and Dubrovnik is up there, we opted to stay this end of the peninsula as it is quieter and considerably more reasonable than towards the old town. The number 6 bus goes regularly from close by and is €2.50 each into the old town, bus tickets cheaper if bought in advance and the Dubrovnik Pass is a recommendation for all public transport and entry into many attractions including the Wall (which is €35 each on its own). The pass is €35 for one day, €44 for 3 days…. Basically better value the more days’ worth you buy. We have been spoilt for choice for places to eat out, pizzas and pastas between €15-20 depending on the location, you really pay for a view! Plentiful good quality meat and fish/seafood. We are paying around €90 for a main course x2 and bottle of wine. Anyway enough of the frugal Yorkshire-woman talk….!This is an amazing place, very well situated with very good customer service, so welcoming and friendly. Come here, it’s great!😊

Pleasant holiday, good location, rather small bathroom. Basic self catering equipment (no toaster or oven) Great plunge pool but NO Parasols/ sun protection. Pleasant holiday, good location, rather small bathroom. Basic self catering equipment (no toaster or oven) Great plunge pool but NO Parasols/ sun protection. Clean and reasonably comfortable accommodation. Can be noisy first thing from people talking/shouting near reception and road noise - we were on top floor. Great view from balcony of cruise ships coming into port. Need to be fit to keep walking up and down the hill.
