We stayed in the 2 bedrooms flat with 2 bathrooms. One big room which can fit 3 people and the smaller room got a queen size bed for 2. Kitchen equip with cooking utensils with 2 hot plates for cooking. Owner provides with oil, salt & pepper to do some cooking. The best part of this flat, is the terrace that provides an amazing view of the old town. Great views. The door to the Villa with its name is pretty small so beware as we walk pass the Villa and then had to climb back up to find the place. Many steps up or down to the place so no heavy luggages. Look at the photo enclosed and u will see the small sign saying Villa Iveta on the left side of photo. First - loved the place, but there are some things you should know: 1. Booking is best to pay in advance. They use third party agency that will block money from your credit anyway after booking even if booking conditions say you pay on location. 1a. When on location they take cash. That means you cant use amount already blocked from your account and after you have paid it takes some days to lift the block. Currently three days and waiting. 2. On our bedroom we had no running water or toilet. We had a private bathroom at the hall. No problem. 2a. They have old keys on the locks and the renting, slightly elderly family and some of their relatives live in quarters too. Plus all other payibg guests. So during night time you cant really lock your door (if anyone has to go to private bathroom fumbling with the key at night wouldnt work) - so if staying over with strangers without locking your door is an issue to you, best to go elsewhere. They also cook and smoke and drink and live their lives with the sounds and smells of all of it, so if that is something you want to avoid, best to avoid it. 2b. At front gate there is a reliable lock, so feel safe. 3. Not for people with disabilities. That goes for most of Dubrovnik. This location you can not reach by car. It will be up or down the hill 5 minutes with your luggage no matter what. 3a. Could be hard to locate when arriving. We booked a transfer through an agency (third party one that did the money blocking mentioned above) and it really helped to have a driver giving guidlines where to walk after the point of no cars. Location services on phones are sometimes bit vague on locations like this - narrow, steep, walled. ————- But you get loads of positives too - locals that can tell you something about the place. Locals that have born in the very building you are staying in. They have a garden and terrace and those are wonderfull places to just chill. Even if its hot, there will be a breeze from the sea. You dont have to stay at the city. You understand why that actually is a bonus if you stay on location more than 2 nights. So relax and enjoy.
