“Nice appartment”

We had an appointment to check in at 2100 since our plane should land at 2000. Due to bad weather, the plane was 3 hours late. We tried to call Villa Vinka, but no answer, and when we finally arrived, no one was there to give us our room. We had to og to another Place for the first night. Having said that, the rest of the stay was very pleasant. The room was very Nice, and the cleaning lady was as kind as can be. They let us keep the room on the last day, so everything came out fine. But a little better communication would be fine.

“Great location”

Stayed here for a week, the location is excellent, there's bus stops practically outside with the number 6 to the old town every ten minutes. The apartment was clean and spacious, the only thing I could say was the built in decent sized fridge freezer had packed in and had been replace by one half … more

Stayed here for a week, the location is excellent, there's bus stops practically outside with the number 6 to the old town every ten minutes. The apartment was clean and spacious, the only thing I could say was the built in decent sized fridge freezer had packed in and had been replace by one half the size with a tiny freezer, there wasn't an oven or a toaster either only a hob with two rings. The cleaner also attempted to come into the room one morning without knocking, thankfully we had the key in the door, she tried a couple of times then came back again, my wife asked what was going on and she replied something in Croatian and looked annoyed, we never saw her again, maybe a misunderstanding?. I would definitely stay here again and it's only a 2 minute walk from the promenade with its bars and restaurants and only ten minutes to the beach. This was our second visit to Croatia and it won't be our last, friendly people and stunning scenery, excellent.

“Decent appartment but communication awful”

The appartment was fine, clean and a reasonable size. There is decent Wifi and it's in a good location - as per the other reviews (bakery, bus, beech etc). The appartment was fine, clean and a reasonable size. There is decent Wifi and it's in a good location - as per the other reviews (bakery, bus, beech etc). Don't expect a room with a view and our balcony was overlooking the path. But....... The issue is that this is not run well with a lack of communication.....frustrating. We sent email requests which were all ignored (clarify check-in time, reserve car park, currency payment). No one was there to check us in - luckily we'd seen other reviews and called in advanced. She let us down, not arriving at 2pm as promised and had to call again - a key had been left in a door but no note/explanation. Despite promising being there at 3pm, again she let us down......we therefore went out. That said, the cleaning staff we met in the morning were all friendly. A shame, as my review would have been far more positive but this was annoying (you may have guessed already!).
