Our third visit to Rovinj, but our first stay at Arupinum. This is a little gem in a great location, with easy access to both Rovinj itself, the beautiful coastal path, and the shaded forest trails which start in the grounds of the hotel Eden nearby. There is a small well-stocked supermarket 5 minutes walk away, as well as an excellent family restaurant for those nights when you don't want to venture into the old town. Really couldn't be a better spot. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean, well-appointed with modern decor, everything is finished to a good standard and like new. Rooms (and beds) are comfortable and of a good size. Fresh towels for bathroom and pool were brought daily. The full five stars however go to the amazing staff here - nothing is too much trouble for them, and from the initial welcome until our departure, the service was relaxed, friendly and personalised. My preferred coffee was remembered and already being prepared as soon as I appeared in the morning, by staff that remembered our names. Those little details which make you feel welcome. Would definitely stay here again.

This is an exceptional hotel. The location is perfect for exploring Rovinj, the nature park and beaches. The hotel is stylish and immaculately clean with a peaceful pool and the most comfortable sun loungers. There is a sense of calm throughout. Breakfast is delicious and plentiful. What makes this hotel exceptional are the people working here. Without exception, everyone is friendly, helpful and highly professional; they are a wonderful team. We have thoroughly enjoyed our time spent at the Arupinun and highly recommend a stay here.

“FANTASTIC STAY AT HOTEL ARUPINUM - WE WILL BE BACK !”

My wife ( Alexis ) and I stayed at Hotel Arupinum for one week in early July.and thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. The Hotel has a peaceful atmosphere and is in an excellent location with a short easy 10-15 minute walk to the lovely Rovinj harbour and old town. It offers easy access also to the shingly beaches and forest area which we enjoyed walking in and around..All of the staff were very friendly and helpful and our thanks in particular go to Ana, Ivana, Martina, Anilla and Nenad for their support throughout our stay.. We stayed in Room 106 overlooking the pool which was great.... spacious, clean, and comfortable with a lovely bathroom with walk in shower and a small balcony, ideal for our needs. Breakfasts were very good with plenty of choice. We ate lunch there a few times too which were also very good. Nearby there is also an excellent Italian Restaurant Il Faro which we highly recommend. Overall we had a great time at Hotel Arupinum and we will definitely return.

“Great hotel in lovely town”

My wife and I have just spent two weeks at the Hotel Arupinum, although most guests seem to stay for only a few days. It is a lovely small 20 room hotel. Nenad, Martina and Ana on reception were all extremely helpful from the moment we arrived, and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We had a modern spacious bedroom, with a large double bed (ideal given the hot weather), a table and two chairs, a relatively small wardrobe for a two week stay (with the room safe at the bottom), relatively little drawer space but several places to store clothes that do not need to hang up, and a large TV with about 7 English channels. There was a small balcony overlooking the swimming pool, also with a small table and two more chairs. The bathroom had a bath, shower, sink and toilet. Flannels, hand towels, bath towels and pool towels, dressing gowns and slippers were all changed regularly. There were plenty of small bottles of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion, plus vanity sets. At breakfast there were 3 different juices, prosecco, still and sparkling waters, teas and coffees. Food for visitors with a British taste included yoghurts, fresh fruit, various cereals, breads and pastries. There were other food choices for continental tastes. We ate lunch at the hotel on several occasions and the food was excellent. The swimming pool is large for the size of the hotel and is a constant depth (about 1.4m), ideal for weak swimmers and good swimmers alike. It was cleaned frequently while we were there. There were about 15 sunloungers in the hotel’s small grounds. The acid test about any hotel is - would we return to the hotel if we came on holiday here again. The answer is a definite yes.
