We had a wonderful stay at Falkensteiner Premium Camping Zadar. The campsite is beautifully maintained, the facilities are modern and clean, and the location by the sea is perfect for a relaxing family holiday. There is a sizable market on the campsite itself, which was very convenient, although a bit pricey, and had a good selection of products. What truly made the difference for our family, however, was the incredible animation program for children. The activities were plentiful, engaging, well organized, and created with genuine care and enthusiasm. Our kids looked forward to every part of the daily program and were excited from morning until evening. A special thank you goes to Henny and Nazanin, whose energy, kindness, and professionalism stood out throughout our stay. They created such a warm and welcoming environment for the children and made every activity fun and memorable. It is rare to meet people who can connect so naturally with kids while also making parents feel completely at ease. Their dedication added enormous value to our holiday experience and was honestly one of the highlights of our stay. I can however give only 4 stars due to a small but crucial point of attention: we were a bit disappointed that the pool was not heated, especially considering the time of year, as it limited how much we could use it with the children. Overall, we had a fantastic family holiday and would happily return. We would definitely recommend this camping resort to families looking for a place where both parents and children can genuinely enjoy themselves.

“Overpriced but nice”

Mightily expensive campsite and only worth it iuf you are going to use all the fancy facilities. Toilets and showers constantly kept clean. Excellent checkin process feels more like a hotel. Mightily expensive campsite and only worth it iuf you are going to use all the fancy facilities. Toilets and showers constantly kept clean. Excellent checkin process feels more like a hotel. Water and waste on each pitch. Electric v strong so good if you need to use your a/c. Don't scrimp on the pale blue section pitches. Lots of superkaets nearbye and 10 Euros uber into old town Zadar. Over priced but nice site.

“Small and overgrown pitches, the trees are far too low for some of the large modern motor home that come on this site.”

The pitches are too small and I was hit by a large motor home whilst in bed in my caravan! The motor homes that come on here are like large coaches and the trees are far too low to accommodate them the roads are very narrow on the site and manoeuvring these vehicles requires passing a HGV test in m… more

The pitches are too small and I was hit by a large motor home whilst in bed in my caravan! The motor homes that come on here are like large coaches and the trees are far too low to accommodate them the roads are very narrow on the site and manoeuvring these vehicles requires passing a HGV test in my opinion, the metal security fence is an eyesore that looks onto the beach and there are few facilities to empty chemical toilets and shower, they are there but a long way to get to them depending on your pitch. There is a bus route right outside the gate and they are cheap and taxis are cheap and the old town is stunning the site could be improved drastically if they didn’t have the cram them in attitude and looked at the size of the vehicles that come here and thought “hang on we need to reassess this”

“Underwhelmed and not worth 5 stars or the price”

Not as good as we expected for the money and 5 star rating. Got upgraded apparently but we ended up Amongst a whole load of families with screaming kids. Pool ok but nothing special. Shower block ok but needs a good clean and definitely not 5 star. Was recommended to us but really not impressed.
