We stayed in the Annex section of this Grand Hotel. Rooms were clean although lacking in deep drawer space. A/C worked well. We were advised the Wi-Fi may be spotty - and it was. We stayed in the Annex section of this Grand Hotel. Rooms were clean although lacking in deep drawer space. A/C worked well. We were advised the Wi-Fi may be spotty - and it was. Buttons on elevators sometimes would go unlit after arriving on an earlier floor. All in all, it was a safe place to stay, great location, beautiful mural of the Mediterranean in the main dining room where the breakfast buffet is more expansive than the annex buffet. There was plenty of help near the entrances of the hotel for undisturbed passage since many Cubans seek USDs by panhandling.

Not recommended. Reception staff was very helpfu upon checking….but mostly lobby, bellboy, etc. staff was not very welcoming during the stay. Hotel needs a big update and clean up…while rooms are spacious and nicely appointed, sheets were ripped, curtains were ripped and overall musty smell in the… more

Hotel needs a big update and clean up…while rooms are spacious and nicely appointed, sheets were ripped, curtains were ripped and overall musty smell in the room. Hotel to which this is connected to by a bright, photos decorated “tunnel” ( is quite lovely and has a great restaurant, bar, nice lobby, friendly concierge). Didn’t see their rooms, but suggest you stay there instead of Marques. The pool atop Marques is Lovely and scenic views of the city are fabulous. And the hotel is in a good location.
