“Great place needs to go back to its standards but still very good!”

Good value for money, great place to go with kids. Pools are wonderful and the new water park is a jewel! Improvement needed in cleaning and meals variation.

If you’re looking for a family‑friendly all‑inclusive resort where kids can have lots of fun and parents can relax, Kunuku Resort is a great option. The staff were courteous, friendly, and very helpful throughout our stay, which really added to the overall experience.

Think of it more as a beach house feel than a hotel. Facilities were clean, room was clean, just not luxurious. Food was decent. Not massive variety but there was enough. There aren't any impressive dishes, more the basics. Pasta salad, rice etc. More along the lines of kid friendly family foods. The more impressive items do run out early and often times aren't refilled but 90% of the food is always in stock. There's a food area open all day with some fried foods (wings etc), food sign isn't in english though so it wasnt easy to order. If you don't want the fried foods, go across to the new waterpark, they have hot dogs. There are a few minor things, that aren't dealbreakers by any means. 1. It's all inclusive but you cant get water bottles to take to your room. You get 2 in your room on check in and thats it. The bar only gives you cups of water 2. No self service drinks with meals, you have to go to the bar. A juice/ soda dispenser in the food area would be less hassle. There is though self service coffee. 3. The pizza bar was open only 6-9 but it takes over an hour to get pizzas. It's not like you can stroll out your room at 7pm and get pizzas for your kids. I get the feeling that they purposely have it understaffed to control the flow. 4. The staff aren't particularly warm, they do their jobs. I found though that that was how customer service was generally countrywide. 5. No elevators Overall though, we paid less than 250 / nite for 3 persons and for the price, it was good value. If you want something higher standard, you gotta pay more on the island. I saw the other reviews and was a bit scared after I booked but to be honest, I'd stay there again. Food alcohol and waterpark. I would recommend getting a car. They bring the rentals to the hotel and pick it back up there as well. Esims work great on the island and google maps was great.

We had a mixed experience at Kunuku Aqua Resort. The park itself is fantastic, and the kids had an amazing time — that was definitely the highlight of our stay. The water park is great for families and really enjoyable. Unfortunately, several aspects need serious improvement. The water in the fridge had clearly been sitting there for a long time and had developed a slippery texture, which was very unpleasant. The utensils were also not properly cleaned, raising concerns about hygiene. On top of that, the food quality was very disappointing. Overall, while the resort is great for children because of the park, the cleanliness and food quality need much more attention. I would mainly recommend it for the water park, not for the overall stay.
