Had a fantastic time at Olympic Lagoon Resort. The resort, room, food and drinks were amazing. Incredible staff made our stay a wonderful experience. Especially Jurij, who kindly assisted my friend when she was struggling to walk - due to surgery and not drink 😂. As well as the lovely English lady waitress who works in the buffet restaurant and the smiling waiter Bindo ( apologies if spelling is incorrect ). We watched the incredible shows that were performed by the All Stars team on site. The performances were amazing and the team fantastic, especially Leah who went out of her way to make us feel welcomed when we would meet her onsite. Everyone works incredibly hard and the owners should be proud of their efforts. I’ve already booked my holiday for next year!

“Fabulous resort and holiday.”

Immaculate resort. Friendly, attentive staff. Delicious food and plenty of options. Varied and high quality entertainment. Close to beautiful beaches. Immaculate resort. Friendly, attentive staff. Delicious food and plenty of options. Varied and high quality entertainment. Close to beautiful beaches. Loads of lovely cats on site, added bonus as an animal lover. Only downside was the out door pools temperature, but late April into early May so probably more due to unexpected colder spell. Would highly recommend and hope to return.

“Outstanding hotel usually but a few niggling issues this time.”

Just returned home after another holiday here. We stayed in the Fishermans Village and regretfully the hotel did not live up to its outstanding reputation on this visit. We were disappointed that the pool bar was closed in the evening for half of our 10 day stay. As usual the hotel was exceptionally clean, full of smiley, friendly staff and I would say not at full capacity. So negatives first. As a Platinum member, we found the main dining experience not up to the usual standards. Twice we couldnt sit in the adults only area as the tables had not been cleaned or replenished after previous holiday makers so we were directed into the main eating area. This wasnt so much an issue as we are not stuck up and dont mind children. However, the wait to order drinks was too long. My wife ended up getting her food while I waited to order a coffee and Latte. I had to call the waitress over to do this. I went for my food and returned to the table. Still no drink, not even water. I ate my food and still no drinks. This may only be a minor issue for some but as we were Fisherman Village guests and pay a lot of money to stay there, I feel the service was a big let down. We also noticed that far too many non guests used the Fishermans Village as a walk around, kids in and out of the football/tennis courts used it as a cut through and there were a couple of weddings going on where non Fisherman Village guests sat with Fishermans guests outside their room being quite loud. Another young couple decided it was ok to play music via a portable speaker. It isnt criminal of course but we come here to relax in the tranquility of a private area and a private terrace. On to the positives....I will mention specific hotel staff members as stand out workers. Giannis is the main buffet area. I love this fella. Such a great personality even though I am hard of hearing and didnt understand a word he said. Fantastic guy. Veronika in the Fishermans Village. This lady is outstanding. We always look forward to seeing her. She goes way above everything to make sure you have your drinks on tap, not even the rain stopped her. Then we have the room cleaner, Paulina. Such a lovely lady. She kept the room clean and tidy, not that we are untidy in any way. And lastly Fanos. He thought I didnt remember him but I am now hard of hearing so dont mix where crowds may be or noise. As the pool bar was closed for our first 5 nights we only went there for a quick drink twice. As for the rest of the staff that I either didnt get their names or simply forgot their name....it is always a pleasure to encounter you all. We will be returning to the Fishermans Village as overall this hotel and staff are outstanding, bar the hiccups in the main buffet dining area. Teething problems no doubt but none the less not acceptable to allow any guests in any part of the hotel to go without basics at food time. Once you sit down, the 5 star service should be just that. Sadly let down this time on trivial things but we look forward to returning. Anyone reading this review......book up. You wont be sorry and will want to return. Amazing place to holiday at. Best in Cyprus.
