WOW! What a wonderful hotel. From the moment of our arrival checking in was a breeze. The staff lead by the hotel manager Alberto were very attentive and greeted us with such personal care. Oliver set up all our phones with his WhatsApp details and no sooner than getting our rooms all our à la carte reservations for our 1st of 2 weeks stay . Oliver has a wonderful disposition, always smiling and making sure everything is taken care of. Truly an amazing person with a heart of gold. The property is very well maintained and extremely clean. Very eco friendly with many wild animals such as peacocks, flamingos, ducks and many more walking the beautiful grounds. Our room was in block B, a short walk to the beach as well as the main buffet and two of the à la carte restaurants within a few minutes walk. The rooms have been renovated with beautiful closets and tons of drawers for clothing. King size bed with living area and a balcony that overlooked the pool with sea view as well. The main lobby and the other à la carte restaurants reached by taking the little train that ran every 5 minutes or so. To walk was another option as the path through the mangroves offered a peaceful and beautiful look at nature. Breakfast buffet staff were all very friendly especially Angela and Marian with a special thanks to Frankie as well. They would greet us with a smile and by the second day they both knew our coffee preferences without even asking. Beautiful ladies that were very efficient and accommodating. The beach was beautiful with the only problem being the beach chairs and the palapas. If you wanted to make sure you got one you would need to be down at the beach early, in our case around 6am every day. The main pool offered all the games and music, the other 2 pools were a little quieter with one of them dedicated to children with splash pad . If you wanted activities the hotel offer options such as mini golf, archery, bocce, table tennis and much more. The sport bar offered many options of sporting events on many tv screens with an upstairs area with tables along with other games. Although the hotel offered nightly entertainment we only took in a few as our days were mostly spent at the beach. We had an awesome time and would recommend the Caribe Deluxe Princess! “Great holiday”

Stayed for a week at the end of March as a birthday treat. I travelled solo but never felt alone—there were plenty of things to do and always people to meet from all around the world. The beach is beautiful, with fine sand, and the seaweed was cleaned every morning. The sea wasn’t calm, but still enjoyable for swimming—I think this part of the island usually has waves. I was waking up on UK time, so I watched the sunrise on the beach with cup of coffee every morning, which was lovely. Because of that, I never had a problem getting a shaded sunbed early, although later in the morning they were hard to find. That said, there were always shaded spots by the pool, just a short walk away. I emailed the hotel before arrival to request a higher-floor room with a pool view and absolutely loved it. Thanks to the reception team—I really appreciated it. The room was spacious, renovated and bright, with a shaded balcony overlooking the pool. Cleaning was good, and the fridge was restocked regularly. One day I returned from the beach and had no towels, but they were delivered within an hour. There is a coffee machine in the room with two filter coffee bags that provided daily. I also found tea bags available at breakfast near the bread section. Bottled water was provided, and I refilled my bottles at the bars. The air conditioning worked well and was easy to adjust. There was always something going on, but no pressure from the animation team to participate. I really enjoyed the beach yoga. Evening shows were okay—as long as you don’t expect top-level performances. There was a DJ at the lobby bar playing Latin and club music after 10pm. The beach party was my favourite—the vibe was amazing. Food was good overall. The choice isn’t huge, but I always found something I liked. I enjoyed the waiter service and background music. I booked a few à la carte restaurants—some were better than others, but the Asian restaurant was very good. For late flights, there is no dedicated luggage storage, but you can leave your bags at reception. You can continue using all facilities and have food until you leave. There are also shower facilities near the coffee bar—just ask reception. There were plenty of security staff around the hotel and beach, so it felt very safe, even at night. The nature areas could be better lit at night. The beach is public, and there are sellers, but they weren’t pushy. I felt comfortable leaving my belongings on the sunbed. Overall, I had a great holiday and would definitely consider coming back. The hotel offers a great balance of price, service, relaxation, and atmosphere.

Stayed at this resort in March for 1 week with friends and we had a wonderful time. Staff are friendly, courteous and very helpful. Want to give a shout out and say "thank you" to these wonderful and lovely ladies for their wonderful service, Ana, Amelia, Yesenia, Aris and last but definitely not least Flor. Flor was always happy, ever so friendly with her "placer" response and always replenishing our drinks we didn't even have to ask she knew what all of us drank (there were 6 of us).. The food was very good a lot a variety we never went to the a la carte restaurants as there was not need to the Buffet restaurant had a lot to choose front. This is one resort that I would stay at again and highly recommended it.
