The resort has a variety of restaurants to choose from. Food is very good and the staff are very professional and helpful. Sorainny was really helpful and welcoming during my visit to grazie Italian restaurant. I highly recommend this resort

“Awesome dinner at Grazie Royalton Punta Cana”

We just had a fabulous dinner at Grazie at Royalton Punta Cana. The hostess Sorainny was so friendly and helpful and our server Deli was great. The food was really good and the atmosphere was awesome. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Location: Stunning. Atlantic ocean side rather than Caribbean sea but this was our choice as a shorter transfer. The saragassum can be bad but the hotel make so much effort to tidy it. Location: Stunning. Atlantic ocean side rather than Caribbean sea but this was our choice as a shorter transfer. The saragassum can be bad but the hotel make so much effort to tidy it. The hotel itself is extremely clean and tidy all of the time from the lobby to the pool areas and grounds. Immaculate. Atmosphere: excellent. Relaxed and happy. The vibe team are a hoot! The beach bar staff ( Sandy and Soloman) are such excellent people, friendly and fun! Unfortunately the same cannot be said for a majority of the bar staff here, particularly in the lobby and the sports bar. The swim up bar staff were also a real let down, looked unhappy and there was a huge lack of interaction with guests. @royalton these staff are letting you down here. A smile and a friendly hola goes a long way. Staff in the restaurants were efficient, friendly and a lot of fun! Rooms: a bit disappointed for the money we paid. The bathroom is tiny, the shower didnt work properly the entire stay despite us bringing it up, and we had to complain on several occassions about the room not being cleaned and no clean towels being left or toilet roll being provided. Pool areas: lovely and clean. Two pools, one for the entertainment and one just for swimming. The weekly foam party is a highlight, just keep small kids close as it gets busy and the foam gets high. It did surprise me that there is no lifeguard presence. Daily games around the pool are a giggle and the vibe team make it fun. The daily aqua aerobics is worth it ladies...look out for Mr Wow ;) The water park at the adjoining hotel is great for a couple of hours of fun; just be wary of some of the waterslides, some of us came away with bruises! Restaurants: Zen: by far the best restaurant on site. This is a Japanese inspired restaurant where the food is cooked in front of you. Its a great deal of fun, entertaining, and the food is delicious Jade: another fantastic restaurant, Asian inspired. Gorgeous food, pleasant staff. Italian restaurant's: were ok. Nothing special, bit basic. Garlic bread would be a good addition! Hunters (steakhouse): fantastic. Great steak well cooked and polite attentive staff. Mexican (at royalton splash): honestly? Don't bother. Im not a big plate person, but this wasnt enough to feed a gnat and wasnt great. Service was slow and complicated. We were a group of 15 but one side of the table had finished their mains before the other side had even ordered starters. No other restaurant had an issue with our big group. Buffet: very nice, catered for all. Could get a bit 'samey'...@royalton this would benefit from themed nights like your hotel in Jamaica does. Evening entertainment: generally very good. White night is probably the best night of the week. The karaoke in the theatre twice weekly is a good post dinner laugh but be warned; if you want to sing, you must get there early to scan the app and get your name on the list! @royalton we actually witnessed an American family bribe a member of staff to put their name on the list as they hadn't arrived on time. This meant some of our party were then unable to sing. Not very fair. The Michael Jackson show was a huge let down considering how good the Royalton in Jamaica was. We left after 20 minutes. Poorly coordinated, poor choreography. Beach and watersports: gorgeous soft sandy beaches and on the right day, clear waters. There are catamarans and kayaks available, you do need a 30 dollar deposit for the catamaran. Overall: we had a fantastic holiday in a beautiful location with our friends, let down by a few things which aren't difficult to fix @royalton. Would i go back? Honestly no, because ive stayed at better Royaltons, but dont let this put you off because we did have a fantastic time!
