This hotel is totally amazing, we went with 2 friends in March this year, the service in the hotel and on there private beach is second to none. The staff and so kind and helpful, the cleanliness of the entire hotel even including the beach is truly 5 star, the selection of food was amazing, we plan to go back to the same hotel later this year.

“Lovely holiday”

Had a lovely time here with my daughter but you have to accept it is not a 5 star resort, but there are still lots of good things about it apart from air conditioning which was poor. Service from Waleed in buffet restaurant was exceptional and he deserves a special mention

“Nothing like our previous visit”

Staff, cleaners, waiters etc are all amazing but the noise, ie thump thump and loud music into the early hours was awful, we never encountered this on our previous visit 2 years ago, it was apparently the Jungle Disco on level 1,we were on the 5th floor and you could feel the thumping thro the bed!… more

Staff, cleaners, waiters etc are all amazing but the noise, ie thump thump and loud music into the early hours was awful, we never encountered this on our previous visit 2 years ago, it was apparently the Jungle Disco on level 1,we were on the 5th floor and you could feel the thumping thro the bed!!! We complained at least 5 times and were told they would tone it down but that never happened. We were booked again for Dec but have now changed to a different hotel. It is such a shame as food is plentyfull, with a good variety, always something even for picky me, staff are really nice but the animation team are a bit in your face and also quite loud, I know they are only doing their job but shouting at clients is a bit much. I wish to thank Amir and the team in the laundry for the washed , ironed and folded shirts we had done to return home, absolutely brilliant.

Not what it used to be, still has good varied food, majority of the staff are great, there is certainly something not working as many of the staff seem very unhappy which doesn't help the guests. Not what it used to be, still has good varied food, majority of the staff are great, there is certainly something not working as many of the staff seem very unhappy which doesn't help the guests. The Jungle Dusco is a nightmare. Starts at 11pm until 2am on the ground floor which even on the 5th floor you could hear it, Thump Thump,Thump, then you have the added pleasure of the guests leaving the disco to return to their room at 3am. Animation Team are extremely in your face and very load whilst walking around trying to gather interest in their agendas, not required when either your reading,sleeping,or just talking to your partner or friends. Sunrise is now gradually turning into a 18 / 30's Resort, absolutely fine,but it needs to be advised/advertised as that so that the older generation who continue to return /arrive are aware of what they are paying for Construction work/ refurbish work continues on the 2nd floor with electric hammer drills and breakers throughout the day, yes rooms need updating however surely the Hotel could close a Wing Off rather than leave everywhere open with guests trying to holiday A big shout out to Mr Amir in the laundry who washed,ironed,folded and packed my clothes in plastic bags ready for home, great job Mr Amir. I have since returning home, cancelled my previously booked holiday in December 2026 and won't be returning to Sunrise Holiday Resort even though I have previously been twice such a shame it used to be a lovely relaxing hotel, with very happy staff.
