Best hotel to stay. Especially with kids. First of all- I would say, that the service and how all the stuff is trying to make you be happy is in a very high level. Highest I ever seen. Hotel have a special employees which are walking through the hotel and asking or everything is fine. If you have any problems- they are solving them immediately. We had a family deluxe sea view room, later, with an extra charge we upgraded into family deluxe swim up and it was the best decission we made! Swim up water temperature was 35,5 degrees, our kids was swimming for 4-5-6 hours per day. There is two very big main pools and along the entire perimeter of the pools there is a platform for kids, so, you don’t need to stay near the small kids pool and spend all day there, you can stay whatever you want and your kids everywhere will have a good enterance into the pool. Also, there is very warm kids pool and very warm adults jacuzzi. Near the pools there is many sunbeds, you don’t need to leave you towels in order to have your place. Evening entertainments ends at 22:00. If you want to continue- every evening there is a live music near the reception bar. Food was good, a la carte restaurants was amazing. The best bar with amazing cocktails and stuff - in front of the reception. Kids club is near the sea, on the side of the hotel, I think this is amazing, because when you are going to have breakfast, you don’t need to pass through the kids club and deal with a kid, that breakfast - fist.. :)) Aqua park is perfect size and with a life jackets (for kids) you can use it even with a very small babies, 1y it’s ok. What we didn’t like: You need to take a beach towels from your room and later to bring them back into the room wet and sandy.. Staff is changing them every evening, but still - it’s is not comfortable. Gluten free section at the main restaurant is very small. The kids corner in the main restaurant suppose to be bigger with more choices, right now there is just 3 options for kids. In summary- we loved the hotel and definitely we will be back. We are traveling a lot, but we have never experienced such a good service!

We had a lovely time at the Jaz Elite Asteria. It’s a new hotel that’s just celebrated its first birthday. It’s on the beach with a long pier out to the reef, and has several swimming pools and so many sun loungers you don’t have to get up early to reserve one. We stayed in the 3000 building which is a bit quieter but in a great part of the hotel. There are five lovely restaurants and a great buffet. You can also have an À la carte breakfast if you prefer. The staff are so friendly and will do anything for you. They’ll bring drinks to your sun lounger all day. There’s an entertainment team during the day and each day has a theme - like the Pink Pool Party. Plus entertainment in the amphitheatre and musicians in the main bar in the evening and a kids club. Thanks to Mr Saad, Chefs Ahmed and Ragab (aka John Travolta), Mahmoud, Abdalazeem, Hazeem, Ibrahim, Shimaa and a huge thanks to Wafi.

Location is perfect, right on a sandy beach and wonderful pier. The hotel is nicely decorated with luxuriant gardens. Atmosphere, the staff is kind and always keen to help. Numerous people available when you need it and always with a smile. Rooms are spacious, well built and clean. We have been in Egypt 5 times and always at Jaz hotels, we visited the Jaz AquaViva and Jaz Élite Maraya in Marsa Alam, but this one is clearly above. The food is amazing, always fresh and so diverse. The « À la carte » restaurants were above our expectations, Italian and Mexican. In my opinion, this hotel is clearly number one without debate. We will come back for sure.
