We stayed at Serry Beach Resort for 11 nights. When choosing the hotel, we were guided by its very good reviews, so the beginning of our stay was quite disappointing. Unfortunately, the service on the beach and on the right-hand side of the pool (when facing the sea) did not make a very good impression on us. The waiters were not very attentive, and we had the feeling that without a tip it was difficult to get their attention or receive good service. Fortunately, everything changed when we started spending time on the left-hand side of the pool. There, we met truly wonderful, helpful and friendly staff who made our stay much more enjoyable. A very special thank you goes to Emad Eldin Mostafa – an exceptional person who brightened our days with his positive energy, smile and kindness. People like him are what make a hotel stay truly memorable. ❤️ Overall, the hotel is definitely worth recommending, but we also have a few comments. The biggest downside during our stay was the number of small children in the main pool, who were very often crying and making a lot of noise, making it difficult to relax there. Another issue was the very high temperature in the main restaurant – it was so hot that at times it was difficult to truly enjoy the food. We stayed at the hotel at the end of July and beginning of August, so perhaps the situation is better at other times of the year. Finally, a huge thank you to the entire team at the beach restaurant – NUR. ❤️ Your kindness, smiles and dedication definitely contributed to our positive memories of this stay. To sum up: the hotel has many advantages, a beautiful location and some truly fantastic staff, although the quality of service can vary depending on the area. Nevertheless, it is worth giving this hotel a chance – especially because of people like Emad and the entire NUR team.

The resort is undeniably beautiful - the grounds are well‑kept, the pool area is lovely, and the overall amenities are impressive. During my stay, the service was warm, the food was consistently good, and the rooms were spotless with everything functioning exactly as it should. However, the experience took a sharp turn after checkout. I realised at the airport that I had left my expensive Tiffany glasses in the room. I immediately contacted the resort by both email and phone. Despite multiple attempts, I received no response whatsoever. It has now been two months with complete silence. At this stage, I’m left to assume the glasses were taken by a member of staff, because there is simply no other explanation that fits the lack of communication. It’s extremely disappointing that a property presenting itself as a five‑star resort cannot manage the basic courtesy of acknowledging an email or returning a phone call. The hotel itself is lovely, but the post‑stay service is far from five‑star.

Aesthetic hotel. Only complaints are the following: restaurants weren’t brilliant and felt recycled from the main buffet (apart from the seafood restaurant which was lovely). Main pool had too many kids in who should be in the kids pool (babies being allowed in main pool). Beach bar employees weren’t too friendly and you had to get their attention to get a drink. Other side to the pool (right side) had unfriendly workers compared to the man included in the pictures and we kept having to get their attention for a drink. Particular thanks goes to the following individuals: Sameh Mamdouh and Mohamed Diab who work in the Dar lounge who were so helpful accommodating and friendly. Also the pool drinks man who works on the left hand side(pictured below) (nearest to the Mexican) as well as the towel man who works on the same side. All of the staff were lovely but a particular thanks to these guys who went above and beyond.
