We are on the way home from Avignon, because its still some hours driving time so we thought to stay around Dijon to have some rest. But in fact it was our best hotel choices so far in our trip around provence and we regret that we stayed only one night, haha. This property is so beautiful, an old house from eighteen century with its typical romantic french character with nice garden and outdoor area, but inside has modern popart style interior and decoration which somehow fits and make this house even more interesting and stylish, one of the most stylish Ibis Style ever! The room it self is bigger than common Ibis room, also clean and stylish with nice view of garden (we were on second floor). I think its bigger than common Ibis room (and many other hotels in europe), well equipped with heater/AC, water heater to make tee or coffee, and very important is safe deposit box. Room is also cheerful decorated and has comfortable bed, bathroom was clean. Check in was smooth, the guy name Francis was very helpful and he speak good english so we did not have any communication problem. Dinner was also very satisfying. We had 2 course each and spend about two hours sitting and enjoying dishes. It was typical french cuisine and they offer local wein. It was a lovely experience for us. Breakfast was also good, although we miss more veggies but as a french breakfast it was many cake, bread and pastry. Dont worry, it was all delicious! There was also egg dishes and of course cheese and butter. We are in love with this property, we hope we can comeback again someday. Thank you.

“3 nights for the 190 SL anniversary”

We were stayed here as part of a group to celebrate the 70th anniversary of a classic car and had a lovely stay. Pleasant staff, lovely room, good restaurant, nice pool. Especially liked the funky interior decor and the lovely garden and would certainly stay there again.

We've stayed at this hotel outbound and return for the last four years. It's an attractive hotel with unusual decor and pleasant gardens. But, be warned - whilst en route, just three hours before our arrival this year, they phoned and cancelled our booking. They said there was an unspecified technical problem with the room and they had moved our booking to a nearby hotel, which they said was of the same standard. While there was nothing wrong with the alternative hotel if you wanted a budget option, it was most definitely not of the same standard - small room, no lift, no restaurant for dinner and no gardens or pool. Very unhappy and disappointed.
