July 2016. It is clearly an experience. A well-maintained 3-stars hotel, on the seafront etc. If you need luxury, probably it is not a right place to go. But for us it was an unforgettable experience. 1. The building - it is a hotel in a building constructed in the beginning of the century. The stairs, halls, high ceilings - you feel like in Titanic (in a good sence))))). There are no other hotels like this one! 2. Situation - rooms with seaview are fantastic! You feel like being in a ship. The seq is coming so close to the hotel that you can barely see the beach. The same view from the restaurant. 3. Very good tourist guide and cute animation. It is definitely not a place to go with small children, but if you are looking for a calm and quiet place - it is the right one. 4. Fantastic sea, fantastic area around, great views! The only demand to the hotel : if you can provide more bacon and eggs for breakfast, you will be just perfect)))))))

“Location, location...”

This hotel is situated on the edge of the little town of Morgat,right by the sea, feet in it really. You can step down into the sea from the steps of the hotel terrasse, wonderful. This hotel is situated on the edge of the little town of Morgat,right by the sea, feet in it really. You can step down into the sea from the steps of the hotel terrasse, wonderful. The Art Deco architecture has been wonderfully preserved and restored. The inside is simply decorated, but functional and clean. The only drawback was the mattress, on the hard side for our sensitive backs, but we were tired after walking a lot so slept very well any way. That's the reason for the 4 stars for sleep quality as the hotel was very quiet. The restaurant is very good, but you can have buffet dinners which are cheaper. The breakfast is also good, buffet too. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. Loved every minute in this place, we had a fantastic view on the Morgat bay from our room facing the sea. Will come again!

The beautiful views give this hotel a wow factor. We chose a room with a sea view and it was stunning. To hear the sea at night and watch twinkling lights from the nearby village was lovely. The beautiful views give this hotel a wow factor. We chose a room with a sea view and it was stunning. To hear the sea at night and watch twinkling lights from the nearby village was lovely. The room, albeit small had a huge comfy bed with good quality sheets and pillows. The lounge was very welcoming and the ability to walk down to the beach from the steps of the hotel was amazing. The pool, a short walk away in the grounds was clean, with changing rooms, (remember to take a euro for the locker though) and the pool, though not deep, a good length for swimming and access with wide steps into the water pleasing. The staff were lovely, spoke good English and knowledgeable. The situation of the hotel was ideal as it was quiet but a short walk or drive away was a buzzing village with lots of restaurants, cafes, and good parking. The beach is ideal for wind surfers and swimmers - very protected. But the staff were few and we were unable to get coffee in the lounge in the morning, and we found the breakfast selection, mainly continental, with machines for coffee and all self service rather disappointing. We fact that we were directed to eat from our trays was simply for the convenience of the limited staff to clear away. Although we are workd travellers we have never come a cross a hotel where we have to book for an evening meal even before we have checked in. We decided to check in first and return to book to find it was fully booked, also for the next night. No matter we went to the village and ate, however even then booking is essential. Going out for a meal meant tht we missed out on the entertainment provided, a folk group the first night. We caught them late on and they were fun. We missed the next night due to eating out again. But having checked out the menus then maybe it wasn't such a bad thing, very limited, rather predictable. But the excellent service from the few available staff, and the views and the comfort made it all worthwhile.
