We have to say this is one of the best service we have received in any hotel ever. Our trains were canceled from Paris to Saint malo, we had to get to SM hence we drove . It took us a good 4 plus hours and by the time we got to the hotel it was past midnight. We called ahead and let the hotel know of the situation. When we got to the hotel , the most amazing service was rendered. Can’t remember the gentleman name , he had several tattoos and he was amazing . He came out to the car helped us with our luggage and brought us immediately to our room and gave us bottles of water to recharge and told us I will take care of the rest of things , he said I am here all night and if we need anything to call him. This is not just service, this is anticipating and making some feel looked after. He went above and beyond and was just so genuine and authentic. We had a good sleep and the rest of the next two days at this hotel was just amazing . Everyone was well prepared and service was good everywhere, the spa the breakfast and reception . Top notch place. Great for relaxation nd excellent location.

We liked this hotel and our suite with its 66 m² and 2 bedrooms (at about US$1000 per day). For us, it was surprising that it did not have 2 toilets but it did have two bathrooms. We had many windows and a truly magnificent view of La Manche, the beach at Sillon and Epi de le Hoguette. We could see the walls of Saint Malo. The bedroom/salon area of the suite desperately needed sheer curtains. The glare made it difficult to see at different times of the day. The hotel was right on the boardwalk and next to the sand. It was a wonderful location. The manager of the front desk left us a welcoming note and we received gifts of a beautiful flower arrangement, a fruit plate, as well as Chef Sylvain Dahirel’s (very good) chocolate. There was also an orchid plant in the bedroom that Audre loved. The housekeeping staff did a good job during our stay and had prepared the room as we had requested. We even had two desks. There was plenty of storage and we used the second bedroom as our luggage storage area. With them open, we did not need to unpack. Breakfast was good, with eggs and porridge prepared to order and a complete buffet. The staff was friendly, professional, and welcoming. We found an area that was not under the air conditioning so it was not too cold for us. The hotel had e-bikes that we could rent for half day (29€ per bike) that were excellent. One day we road 29 km for oysters in Cancale (and they were delicious). Another day we used our bikes twice—once to ride to Saint Servan for lunch and then again to ride to Saint Malo for dinner. It is the first time we ever road bikes to and from dinner! Because it stays light so late this far north, it was daylight when we returned after dinner at about 22:00. We had dinner at Le Cap Horn Restaurant twice (in the same space as breakfast) and we had good meals. We loved watching the wing foiling—a sport new to us—using the evening winds. The spa/fitness/pool and all of the related areas were not user-friendly for hotel guests who do not have an appointment for a treatment or a class or a related activity. When we used the fitness room there were no towels available in the room or nearby. Audre went in search and found a spa employee in front of a room full of towels. She asked the employee for 2 towels and the employee said no and directed her to walk down a hall to get towels from shelves. Is that 5-star? No and it is also a poorly trained employee.
