We stayed for 2 nights at the hotel so we could spend a full day in St Malo before our ferry home. It’s a basic IBIS - very much geared up to one night stays - for coach parties and cars. Accommodation was very clean. Staff busy but friendly. In the bathroom there were only 2 towels provided - no hand towel. There was also no soap at the sink even though shower wash was provided. Breakfast was not as good as other IBIS hotels we have stayed in. Unfortunately the scrambled egg and bacon were generally undercooked and there were no tea bags ( the only tea available was flavoured loose tea leaves - no breakfast tea). The bar seating area inside and out was nice to rest up with a beer ( 50 cl beer was 8€). The hotel is a bit too far from the old town for us to walk so we used the park and ride located at the race course . This was excellent, and during peak times buses were every 15 mins, it’s open 24 hours an and drops you off right by the city wall. Excellent service.

Convenient for the ferry (10 minute drive) this is a small but well appointed budget hotel located in a retail park on the south of St Malo and easily accessed, Room was clean with good shower if not very large. Staff were helpful and friendly and there was a small bar with patio and some 'do it yourself' meal arrangements we didn't try as hotel was right next to a decent Buffalo Grill. Highly recommended

Located on the outskirts of St Malo, this hotel is good for a short stay. I arrived late into the evening and so did not use any facilities apart from breakfast. Located on the outskirts of St Malo, this hotel is good for a short stay. I arrived late into the evening and so did not use any facilities apart from breakfast. The room was perfectly adequate and clean, as was the bathroom and shower, however it was a bit tight for space despite being a double room. But it is a budget hotel. The breakfast was OK, but pretty basic in what was available. Overall, it was quite suitable for my needs.

We booked the one night before our sailing home from St Malo. The hotel is in a good location right opposite the shopping mall with supermarkets shops and bar so a good place to look around. Parking at the hotel was great right outside of our room in fact. Check in was easy staff efficient and polite. Our room was adequate bed and pillows like a cloud lovely and comfortable. We sleep really well. The shower was fine with the exception it was dangerously slippery there is a notice to say it is but no mat to use so I stood on the towel I didn’t want to slip. We had booked breakfast and went down at 7.45 and was shocked that the dining room was rammed full of a coach load of elderly French tourists who completely took the place over we couldn’t find anywhere to sit and in fact they had demolished the food they all had plates piled high! The poor server was running in and out frantically. We didn’t get any breakfast neither did we get a drink it was impossible to get anywhere near the food and beverage station. We checked out and left We always stay in the Ibis Styles near to the port but thought we would try this one we obviously picked the wrong date!
