Fantastic hotel in a wonderful location. Rooms are large and comfortable with wonderful views. We had room 140 and could have happily spent the whole stay on our balcony! The bed was sublime and housekeeping was of the highest quality.The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and professional but a special mention must go to Clara the concierge and Ingrid at front of house, both of whom went out of their way to make our stay special. The pool area is a peaceful haven with an enormous pool and with gardens and a beach area, nowhere ever felt crowded. The spa is huge and we had one of the best couples massage in a long time. Breakfast options were varied and service was impeccable at all times. All in all, it was a wonderful week and though it was our first trip, it certainly won’t be our last.

“Lovely hotel in a spectacular location”

Lovely hotel in a spectacular location. The view from the pool deck is breathtaking, espscially at sunset. Breakfasts were good. Service was a little slow at times, but always very friendly.

You genuinely cannot beat the views at this hotel - sunset in particular is stunning. We also had a gorgeous view of the Sea from our bedroom. The staff were friendly and spoke great English - the concierges and bartenders in particular were great. We both enjoyed our massages at the hotel (Ingrid did a fantastic job!) and really enjoyed the food (both breakfast and supper). We enjoyed the fact that it was a bit secluded but others may not - Porticcio is close but a bit hairy to walk to. We'd give it 4.5 stars if we could - the only drawback was our room occasionally had an odd smell that we could never track down. Overall we would definitely recommend it and stay here again.

I would like to share my experience of staying at the hotel. I really liked the hotel's grounds, attentive staff and comfortable rooms. But I have to give a lower rating, as I did not receive attention to my request about the management of the hotel. We arrived at the hotel on November 11, we could not be checked into the hotel because there was no light and we were offered accommodation at the Hotel Campo Dell'Oro 4*. The next day we moved to the Sofitel Hotel and enjoyed our vacation. However, I did not receive a response to my request for a recalculation of the cost of arrival and a refund. I have repeatedly sent an appeal to the office. I understand the technical issues that may arise at the hotel, but I paid the amount for staying at a 5* hotel, not 4*
