Had some trouble finding the motel despite the sign saying that I needed to go further down and turn right at the roundabout. Turned out that I hadn't driven far enough after turning and getting off the roundabout. The location was absolutely perfect, quiet and close to all the attractions. The room was clean, the wifi was password-protected and very fast. There was an electric kettle (albeit with a note that it should only be used for boiling water, LOL). The bed was comfortable. One of the best accommodations I had on this month-long trip of mine.

“Great room, excellent shower room, perfect location”

We booked a night here on our return from Southern Brittany to Calais. It seemed to have the basics we wanted but it had so much more, on arrival we were initially shown to an upstairs room, accessed by external stairs. We noticed it had a bath with shower over, not the walk in shower shown in the photos. The receptionist immediately took us back to a ground floor room where we could park by our room door. A bonus. The room itself was bigger than most rooms in similar hotels. There was plenty of hanging and storage space. A big comfortable bed with quality pillows. A kettle and tea + coffee making facilities. There was also a small low table with two chairs and a rack for a suitcase. We were surprised to find a fridge in the room. Another bonus. The shower room was also spacious with a heated towel rail, space to put toiletries and hooks on the wall. The shower had a large rain shower with a separate hand held shower. We had planned on going a little further for the following night but after seeing the room, we booked a second night, which also gave us more time to explore the area. We love Honfleur anyway. It’s only a few minutes drive from the centre - probably easily walkable for most people. We didn’t have breakfast on either morning as I stopped having any breakfast 6 months ago. But, having seen what there was on the second morning, when we were checking out, I suspect it’s good and very reasonable value. The receptionist was excellent and I would definitely recommend a stay here. If we’re in the area next year we’ll certainly make this our first choice.

“Superb Motel”

Absolutely lovely place to stay at, close enough to Honfleur town to walk. Rooms are excellent, on-site parking, owner and staff 100% friendly and helpful, very reasonable rates Easy access to roads to/from Calais. Great stop off point leading to Normandy beeches etc

Pleasant little motel, approximately 2 km from the pretty little town of Honflure. We arrived in the early afternoon, was greeted by the manager who spoke good English & German, he checked us in and showed us our parking area and our room. The room was clean and tidy, very nicely decorated and furnished in a very simple style. The room had tea and coffee facilities, plenty of electrical points, shutters over the window to help with the heat and the spacious bathroom/shower with hairdryer and clean white towels. The beds were comfortable and had clean white lining, along with a choice of pillows. There is a small garden to the back of the reception area, a small bar and a breakfast room . There was plenty of choice for breakfast, with fresh baked croissants and baguettes, local meats and cheeses, cereals, yoghurt, some fruit. A hot drinks machine provided coffee in several formats as well as hot water. Orange and apple juice was also provided. We only wanted a hotel as a base, as this was the first time we visited Normandy and had planned this trip so that we could visit the British Normandy Memorial at Ver-Sur-Mer, approximately an hour and 20 minutes away.
