We had a fantastic stay at this hotel and would happily return. From the moment we walked into reception, we were greeted by a beautiful, subtle fragrance and immediately noticed how exceptionally clean the hotel was. The decor throughout is stunning, including the bedrooms, with a lovely vintage boutique style that gives the hotel lots of character. The reception staff were fantastic throughout our stay. They were friendly, welcoming and always happy to help whenever we needed anything. Our room was a great size for myself and my 8-year-old son and was very comfortable. As temperatures were reaching 33+ degrees during our stay, we were particularly grateful for the excellent air conditioning, which kept the room cool and comfortable at all times. There was also a TV where my son could watch his shows on YouTube while we were getting ready. Before arriving, I contacted the hotel to ask whether towels, an iron and a hairdryer were available, as I was attending a wedding nearby, and all of these had already been provided in the room when we arrived, which was a lovely touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable too — my son even said it felt like "sleeping on a cloud"! The location is excellent. We found everywhere we needed to get to very accessible, and there is a small shop less than a five-minute walk away for food, drinks, toiletries and other essentials. We went to Juan-les-Pins for a beach party with friends on the Friday, which was only around 15 minutes away by Uber. We attended a wedding at Bastide du Roy on the Saturday, which was also approximately 15 minutes away. There is a harbour just a short walk down the road, and the hotel is around 20–30 minutes from Nice Airport. We also found Ubers plentiful at all times of the day and night. Breakfast is definitely worth booking. There was a great selection, including eggs, sausages, bacon, pancakes, toast, fruit, cereals, yoghurts, freshly squeezed juices, cold meats and cheeses. I hadn't originally booked breakfast as I had planned to find somewhere locally, but with a busy wedding schedule we decided to add it during our stay and were really pleased that we did. There was plenty of choice and it was well worth the additional cost. The pool area is lovely and very clean, although the pool itself is relatively small and there are only a limited number of sunbeds. If you're looking for a hotel where young children can spend the entire day running around a large pool area, this probably wouldn't be the ideal choice. However, for myself and my 8-year-old son, it was absolutely fine and we really enjoyed using it. The only minor negative during our stay was that the Wi-Fi wasn't working when we first arrived, which was a little inconvenient. However, the hotel communicated this to us straight away and explained that they were working on resolving the issue. By the time we returned from the beach party that evening, the Wi-Fi was working again and it remained reliable for the rest of our stay, so this really wasn't a significant issue. Overall, we had a lovely stay. It's a beautiful, clean and characterful hotel in an excellent location, with friendly staff, comfortable rooms and great facilities. We would definitely stay here again and would happily recommend it to others visiting Antibes.
