The hotel is basic but complete. Well maintained and clean. Outside there is a nice area were you cansit and a small swimming pool. You can see that the hotel is not old. The staff is friendly and helpfull. Only the location is some were in the middle of no were. You need a car to get some were. They do not serve lunch and dinner, that can be taken at the buffalo grill across the street. Good food. Breakfast is perfect and complete.

“Great inside, bad location”

Nice hotel with a very kind welcome and service. Very clean and comfortable, it's within a commercial area just outside Martigues which can be reached by car within 15 min. Location is not great however, having a car is necessary for moving around.

We stayed as a group of 6 in this hotel for 5 nights. We were in Martigues for a family party so didn't spend much time in the hotel but we were disappointed with it. We stayed as a group of 6 in this hotel for 5 nights. We were in Martigues for a family party so didn't spend much time in the hotel but we were disappointed with it. The rooms are very basic and more suited to stay 1 night or 2 max. Our room smelt damp and of cigarettes which we complained about and was offered to move to a room next to reception so we said no. The room was also not cleaned well, it had cobwebs in the corner and was not vacuumed for a few days at least. We had to ask for more toilet roll on more than one occasion and foot and hand towels were not always provided. One member of our group ate breakfast once and was not impressed. We opted to buy our breakfast from the boulangerie round the corner and paid for coffee from the hotel. The amenities listed above are inaccurate, the rooms are not sound proof, I could hear the person next door brushing their teeth! If there was a games room and activities stated, we did not see any of these. We asked for a plaster and they did not have a first aid kit, this was very alarming. The extractor fan in our bathroom didn't work and when reported was told 'it is just like that sometimes'. All staff were polite and tried to be helpful but gave us the wrong bus times on 3 occasions. Unless you have a car this hotel isnt in the best location and the area of Martigues isnt very accessible. Taxis are very expensive from the hotel and uber is hard to access. As we didnt spend much time in the hotel, these things didn't spoil our holiday luckily. One plus, it has a pool and a good hair dryer. This hotel is cheap for a reason so if you plan to stay for more than one night, think twice.
