“Well located, good for bus travel - an excellent stay!”

Spacious, clean and tidy room, our "partial" sea view balcony was much less partial than we expected! The hotel is on a busy main road but we found the balcony doors to be well sound-proofed once closed. Lots of little touches which made this stay seem a little more decadent, like the robe and slippers. Lovely sun terrace and solarium which sadly we didn't have the opportunity to use on our 2 night stay. It's about a 15 minute walk to the Old Town, but it's a pleasant walk along the seafront. The #600 bus stop is right outside, which is perfect for trips along the Cote d'Azur, all the way to Nice; the train station is also just a short walk away.

This beautiful boutique 4* hotel is perfectly located steps from the sea but away from the hussle and bustle of the tourists in the village and harbour area. There are very few hotels right in the sea front and of those this is the only perfect one! This hotel in the last 4 years has become my little oasis, my escape from Paris, home away from home when I need to relax, disconnect, and recharge. Everything at Princess & Richmond is Excellent all across the board! Spectacular views, perfect balcony, Very modern rooms, wonderful stall shower, the bed is so comfortable, and the room size is just right. Listening to the sea crash against the rocks just rocks you to sleep. The sunrises over Italy and sunsets in front o the beach are breathtaking. The room is Impeccably decorated and clean and very well serviced. Room service breakfast and snacks is very appreciated! The rooftop solarium and jacuzzi with 360 views from the mountains to the sea are breathtaking and memorising. Perfect. Even the recently redone reception is just gorgeous. The staff are so very friendly helpful and full of recommendations and information. Just lovely. Staff incredibly at your disposition with every question or request. Just lovely. The only thing lacking here is: No restaurant to eat directly at the hotel or order room service after 7pm but snacks for room service are excellent and little cute restaurants next door for a quick bit were very good!!! Only Recommend: adding more non-gluten options to room service breakfast menu and extra big coffee cups in the room ( the Nespresso cups are too small). When staying in Menton this is the only hotel to be at! I 100% without a doubt, without hesitation recommend the Hotel Princess & Richmond.

The room was spacious, clean and tidy - the staff friendly and professional. My room had a wonderful balcony with sea view. I noticed many people stating non walkable but I walked everywhere including to Jardin Botanique and back. I was in town for the Lemon Festival so the location was very convenient for all the nightly and day activities. The bus from Nice drops you off steps from the hotel. The train station is walkable as well. I didn't try the breakfast as there as so many nice cafes nearby. I did have dinner one evening and it was tasty. The elevator is very small so I walked up and down the stairs. I would recommend.

We stayed three nights here. The rates were reasonable, perhaps because the location is slightly out of the town, but it's an easy walk of 15-20 minutes. We stayed three nights here. The rates were reasonable, perhaps because the location is slightly out of the town, but it's an easy walk of 15-20 minutes. Very convenient for buses to Nice and Monaco which stop around the corner on the main road behind the hotel. Hotel reception area is modern and bright and looks recently renovated. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Loved the sea view from the balcony. The road along the sea front means you do get traffic noise, but you can also hear the sounds of the waves on the rocks below which is lovely. All the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful. It's a family-run hotel with a nice atmosphere and where they seem to take a genuine interest in their guests satisfaction. Breakfast buffet was an ample choice including cheese, cold meats, fruit salad, yoghurt, cereals, pastries and croissants, plus a hot selection of scrambled or boiled eggs, sausages and bacon. They don't have a restaurant for dinner but there are lots of places to eat as you walk towards the old town. Only negative was the wifi which wasn't great and kept disconnecting. We'd definitely stay here again though and Menton is gorgeous!
