We had a fabulous time, staying at Katia. Alex and Joanne the owners made us feel very welcome. We can understand why ones are returning customers. The apartments are basic, it is a 2.5 star after all, but we had all we required. They are cleaned daily. Special mention to Suzi, our cleaner always cheerful and helpful. The feel of the place is definitely 5* We ate at their restaurant most nights and really enjoyed our meals. Another special mention goes out to Denise, very professional when serving and always smiling. We adored her. The location was great. As there was a very short walk to the shingle beach (sea shoes a must) we enjoyed snorkeling there. It was quiet when we went, at the beginning of October, sunbeds were plentiful and the pool refreshing to swim in. A first time visit to Corfu itself. We feel we picked well with Kassiopi as an area. A beautiful scenic harbour. It was about a 10-15 minute walk from the apartments. Nico's bakery gets a mention, the spring rolls are to die for. We hired a car which was delivered to our accommodation. We were able to go to Corfu town and other resorts. We stumbled across some beautiful bays. A beautiful island, we will be back.

“Holiday ”

Just returned from holiday of 10 days this was our 5th year hear can't fault it clean comfortable rooms all the staff are helpful and friendly and Alex is the perfect host makes our holiday that bit more enjoyable would definitely recommend this place

“Nice stop off on way to Avlaki or Kassiopi”

Excellent and friendly service, we stop off here for a drink on our regular walk to avlaki from kassiopi, friendly, clean and tidy. Looks a lovely place to stay. Quiet, good value and looks a very homely place to stay, pool nip and clean and beers are very reasonable

We spent 7 nights in Katia and will give a very honest and balanced review as we found it. First of all the negative points: 1. The walls are paper thin and you can hear literally everything from next door. (Which is only a problem if your neighbours are inconsiderate - which unfortunately ours were. 2:50am making phone calls back to UK etc). 2. There is a smell in the bathroom area, but we have experienced that in every Greek hotel. 3. It can get quite loud in the bar area especially on certain event nights. If you like to go to bed normal time in quiet and sleep all night I would advise some high quality ear buds. Apart from all this, the hotel is fabulous. Alex and Joanne are so hospitable and friendly. They literally went out of their way to make our holiday for us. They organised hire car for us and had the car delived to the hotel and collected. They organised boat trips for us with the best rates and organised for the people to pick us up. Nothing was too much trouble. The beds were firm but we really started to appreciate them. We slept really well on them. There was only one pillow though and I do need two. I get a bit shy sometimes and don't like to make a fuss so bought another pillow from the DIY shop in Kassiopi. I can imagine that they would've provided another if I had asked. The rooms were immaculate and clean. The cleaners were also very friendly and gave good pointers about the surrounding area. The owners of the hotel, never seemed to sit down and relax, they were constantly on the go making sure everything was clean, tidy and that the guests were looked after. I don't know where they get their energy from. The Greek night they had was the best I had ever been too and we have been to quite a few. The dancers taught us so much about the dances and performed them really well. They were true professionals. And the bbq was amazing. The food served in the hotel was, for us, perfect. The choice on the menu seemed limitless. And everything was cooked perfectly with incredible flavours. In fact it was so good that we ate most nights there and ended up having most breakfasts there as well. We will definetly be back and look forward to going back. The walk into kassiopi is a nice easy walk unless you have serious health problems or are seriously unfit. My wife had achillies heel surgery last year and strugglesnto walk too far and she was fine with it. Alex, Joanna - thank you so much!
