I’ve just left the resort and wanted to give a special shout‑out to two members of staff who genuinely made the stay feel extra special. Nercan, in the restaurant, was an absolute gem. Always smiling, always kind, and always ready to help. He’s one of those people who makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in — a true gentleman through and through. Deniz, over at the bar, is basically an apothecary wizard. The man crafts cocktails like a ninja — fast, precise, and somehow making even the busiest rush look effortless. His energy and skill were a highlight every evening. The rest of the team were brilliant too. The maid who looked after the room worked quickly, respectfully, and left everything spotless. The bar and restaurant staff remembered our drinks and preferences, greeted us warmly every time, and genuinely seemed happy to see us. It made the whole experience feel personal and relaxed. Overall, the staff here are what make the resort shine — kind, hardworking, and full of good vibes. They really helped make the stay unforgettable. Gemma. (Wales)

We returned a couple of weeks ago after a magical week in this wonderful hotel. A 30 min cab ride from Heraklion airport, check-in was seamless and we were soon on our way to our rooms, with porter service. We opted for the prime room land view rooms and the rooms were delightful. We also had the added advantage of being only a 3 min walk from the little beach with its couple of beach bars and shops and a lovely restaurant if we fancied a change. The rooms also had pre assigned sunbeds in the shared pool directly above our rooms which was a pleasant surprise. From our rooms we had the choice of either taking the lift up to the restaurants/bars/main pools/ or walking up (3-4 mins) a beautiful boardwalk that meanders up the cliff with majestic views over the bay. The main pools were fabulous and never any issues getting the super comfy sunbeds. The hotel do have a strict policy re the reserving of sunbeds which is good imho. Pool towels were available in abundance. There was the occasional small queue for drinks during the day from the pool bars but by and large it was never a problem. The food is fantastic. The main ‘Veranda’ buffet restaurant served up arguably the best buffet food I’ve ever had from a 5* all inclusive. A special shout out to the wonderful Mara, ably assisted by the lovely Yildiz who made our breakfast and lunch experiences that extra bit special with such great service and personalities. The à la cart restaurants are an absolute must. Truly brilliant on every level (scuse the pun) The food, the service and the views are just stunning. As has been alluded to before, you do have to pay for alcoholic drinks in the à la cartes. Evening entertainment is fairly low key ie no extravaganzas but there are smallish shows/bands etc on the terrace outside the main bar. There’s also DJ sets etc at one the pool bars. Evening entertainment tends to wind down at 11 ish and the bars shut at 12. There was absolutely nothing I could fault about Seaside. All the wonderful staff work tirelessly to ensure your stay is memorable and they all have a smile on their faces. Yes the hotel is built up a cliff so there are lots of steps and ramps to negotiate but it was never a problem for me and I’m in my mid 60s. The upside to this is that wherever you are in the hotel the views are absolutely stunning. My only regret….we only went for 1 week!

My husband and I stayed here July 26 for our wedding anniversary for 10 nights. From booking and communication prior travel through to check out..the guest relations were fabulous, helping with bookings and answering queries. We are in our late 40s and found the hotel amazing! Very relaxing, peaceful, beautiful and idyllic. All staff were extremely friendly and welcoming- every single one! The food is delicious with lots of options and the deserts are such a treat! 10/10 for food! We used 2/3 of the resturants although found the service in the main area more attentive. All of the fitness extras are high quality and easy to book. We used the app- recommended! We traveled to the beach and ate at a fab resturant on the front and enjoyed the bars - showing the world Cup! It is on multiple levels and there are some steep slopes and stairs which was fine for us. You can catch a beautiful sunset out the front of the hotel and past the taxi entrance there is a sea viewing point. Perfect resort for a romantic and relaxing escape - we would return for a week as felt a little restricted to exploring due to the remote location. Bus trip to town was only €4.80 each way although in the high heat of midday it was a little chaotic. We booked 2 boat trips which were both excellent and well worth the cost. (Bookable down at the beach and with Tui)
